I will update this listing with more info as I find more info.
First I would like to say this pinball machine has been owned by our family for just over 40 years, I was always told it didn’t work, I repaired just the plug end, have not touched anything else on the machine and it does turn on.
Let’s start with how many are in existence. Including this one, I have found a total of 5 that are somewhat verified. 3 are in Europe from the website pinballowners, the 4th is a registered serial number from years ago on the Internet Pinball Serial Number Database and then there’s mine. There is very little information found for this machine and no for sale ads old or new.
Next I would like to point out this is the first 4 player pinball by Williams. This machine was one of the more expensive machines back in the day. I did find a flyer showing it was $225, compared to other machines that barely sold for $100. Inflation today would’ve put that at about $2100, not bad. I will upload the flyer picture shortly.
The serial number is 80163, so it is the 163 machine made I would assume. I can’t imagine to many of these were made. Other machines by the same company the same year or year after only had 500-700 made. I can only assume there was at max 500 made.
This machine does have a extra option, which is shown in another original flyer I found which I will upload as soon as possible. It has 2 coin chutes, a 10 cent chute and a 25 cent chute. It was made both ways this year, single chute or the double chute.
Any questions feel free to ask. This obviously a collectors piece for a museum and/or restoration.
Buyer is responsible for shipping costs, shipping and handling. I will assist where I can in getting it prepared for shipping.
Shipping costs is not free, please do your research and be prepared with shipping arrangements. It may say free shipping because when making the listing I have to selected something. I repeat, buyer is responsible for shipping costs.
Local pickup available.
