Super-Rare w/ only 600 ever made! Now's your chance to own one of the most mind-numbingly great Pinball machines, based on the widely-heralded cinematic masterpiece of the same name!! I mean, it has Matt LeBlanc on it, need i say more?!!
Seriously though, this is an extremely nice example of the game. Overall very clean, and in great working order. I got it from one of the producers of the film, who himself got it as a gift from New Line Cinema. When i went to see it, it was set up in his office in SOHO, NYC. It honestly looked as if it had never been played. I then routed it in Reciprocal Skateshop in the E.Village (for those who remember that place!) for about a year or so, where it was operated under my watchful eye, while I obsessively maintained it.
Then, when i closed Reciprocal and opened Jackbar, I put this in storage, where it's sat for 5yrs. Pulled it out recently and gave it a full shop-job. All top-side removed, Cleaned, Waxed, Re-rubbered, underside tuned and tightened, flippers rebuilt using William's Pawls and coil stops. They play and feel great! all GI bulbs replaced w/ Frosted Natural White Comet 2SMD's. No cracked plastics, no wear on playfield, Mylar custom cut around spinning disc. Cabinet is a 9.95 (no idea where i get that number). No flipper button wear, and protectors installed day 1. It really looks and plays beautiful.
minor faults... The transistor for the Green Flashers is locked on, and it melted the flasher dome (easily cheap and replaceable, just don't have one on hand). bulbs are removed, and I'm not replacing the transistor before the sale..New owner can take on that task. Thankfully it still has 32 other working flashers :) Also, the coin door is not original, it's swapped from my t3 that needed working coin mechs. not a big deal, but want to disclose everything I know. Lastly, a small bit of the clearcoat ONLY had started to chip at the top of the spinning disc from the ball dropping on it for Condition Red Multiball. no artwork is lost, and I've since preemptively sealed it with clear nail polish, and protected the entire outside of the disc w/ the custom Mylar i mentioned earlier. Would be very hard to notice, as art is intact, but again, full disclosure.
Game is folded up, with no games played on it after shop-job other than to test, and available for pickup at Jackbar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Shipping can be done at buyer's expense and arrangement. I'll just be sure to be there to let the driver's in to do their thing.
not necessarily looking for trades, but i'll listen. thanks for looking!
