Broken Hobbit SMAUG Dragon

Up for sale is a non working Hobbit SMAUG Dragon for parts or cosmetic purposes. With fiddling you could potentially incorporate this into an awesome custom topper.

I don't really know how to price this, but know that a new one is $518 from Jersey Jack. Make me an offer.

It is cosmetically 100% there, but most of the motor functions are not working. When I got it, the dragon mouth motor was not working properly. If I manually opened the mouth, then started the machine up, it would close, but that's it. I took it apart and now can't get that motor to do anything.

When I got it, the dragon moved left to right as it was supposed to, but now after troubleshooting, it does neither. The left and right limit sensors are both stuck as on, so the motor won't engage.

To the best of my limited knowledge, the motors on these actually work, but between sensors and my adjustments they are non working. In other words, it may be possible to fix this dragon to 100%

It would be fairly easy to swap all or some components between different dragons to have a custom machine that was part red dragon part gold dragon. The exception is that the top of the head has the eye LEDs mounted inside. I'd have to open up and confirm but if memory serves me correctly there are 2 screws holding in each LED to the eyes.
