Item description

I'm looking to trade (or sell, but trading's more fun) my 1992 Bally Black Rose. I bought it in September and a friend and I did a ton of work to it, including some board work, adding LEDs, changing rubber bands, replacing plastic parts, adding a Cliffy protector on the cannon, replacing the flipper board, and various other repairs. I have more than $2,500 in it, but I think that's a reasonable price for what it is. It plays 100%.

The cons:
-It needs a new DMD, as the current one is just about gassed out. After the machine has been on 20 minutes or so it warms up and you can see everything just fine, but a new DMD would make it pop.
-The playfield has a little wear around the cannon (mostly covered by the Cliffy protector) and a couple of blemishes around the inserts. Overall, it's a good playfield and nothing affects gameplay.
-The cabinet is faded.
-It's a re-import. Some people swear that re-imports are always basket cases. This one was when I bought it, but it's working great now. Personally, I feel if it works, it works, but I know some people are particular about that.

The pros:
-Plays like a Black Rose is supposed to.
-I've already replaced everything that was ready to break so YOU won't have to!
-The cheapest Black Rose you're likely to find on the market today.
-Excellent backglass.
-GIVE 'EM A TASTE OF IRON, BOYS!

WHY I'M SELLING IT: It's a fun machine, but I've come to realize I just prefer pre-DMD solid state games. With that in mind, here's a list of ...

GAMES I'M LOOKING TO TRADE FOR:
Frontier -- Bally, 1980
Centaur -- Bally, 1981
Cosmic Gunfight -- Williams, 1982
Sorcerer -- Williams, 1985
Grand Lizard -- Williams, 1986

Those are my top five, but I'm also interested in (in rough chronological order):

Paragon -- Bally, 1979
Alien Poker -- Williams, 1980
Xenon -- Bally, 1980
Seawitch -- Stern, 1980
Stargazer -- Stern, 1980
Scorpion -- Williams, 1980
Space Invaders -- Bally, 1980
Nine Ball -- Stern, 1980
Quicksilver -- Stern, 1980
Blackout -- Williams, 1980
Black Hole -- Gottlieb, 1981
Solar Fire -- Williams, 1981
Medusa -- Bally, 1981
Eight Ball Deluxe -- Bally, 1981
Flash Gordon -- Bally, 1981
Embryon -- Bally, 1981
Freefall -- Stern, 1981
Catacomb -- Stern, 1981
Viper -- Stern, 1981
Defender -- Williams, 1982
Devil's Dare -- Gottlieb, 1982
Joust -- Williams, 1983
Time Fantasy -- Williams, 1983
Big Guns -- Williams, 1987
Fire! -- Williams, 1987
TX-Sector -- Gottlieb, 1988

If you have a machine I didn't list here that you think I might be interested in (pretty much any solid state machine manufactured between 1979-1985, especially if it was low production and/or has a weird sci-fi/fantasy theme), send me a PM. I realize some of the machine I listed are worth more than $2,500 and some are worth significantly less, but I have no issue either adding cash or taking cash in the trade.

Local pickup is preferred. I have three concrete stairs going into my arcade room, but it's not too bad to move a pinball machine with three people.

Thanks!
