Continuing to thin the collection a bit. This is what I would call a players pin with some nice upgrades.
Lots of new parts (within the last year or so):
• New speakers (not premium speakers but it makes a difference)
• Inclusion of a second backbox speaker
- Sega originally only included 1 speaker as a cost savings measure
• New DMD cable
• New RottenDog DMD driver board
• NVRAM installed
• New 'Live Assault' Target Assembly (part no. 515-6776-08-59)
• PinSound+ Universal Sound Board
- Allows you to load custom sounds into your game
- Equalizer! Tone down the screeching of those bugs!
- Headphone port on board (but I haven't integrated it into the cab)
- Will support addition of a shaker motor as a future feature
- Can see more at: https://www.pinsound.org/pinsound-plus/
Now the bad:
• Shows typical wear around flipper buttons
• At times the lower segment of the Hopper 8-Digit LED counter flickers
on and off
• No LEDs
• The sound section of the MPU board installed in this game doesn't work...
this is not an issue as the Pinsound+ Board handles all sound
Not really interested in trades as the point is to reduce the number of pins I own.
Thanks!
