I've got for sale a player's condition Nine Ball. Price is firm at $900--only $100 per ball! Local pickup only, or can deliver to Allentown Pinfest on Friday, May 4th. Collection of pics of the game are here:

Run down of what we've got here:

Cons: crappy playfield touch-up in bonus counter/nine ball 'rack'-- the worst is the nine ball. Inserts have usual cupping, pf paint wear around perimeter of inserts. 2 inserts on grid next to 8-bank have spots of discoloration (bulbs locked on at some point?)

-Backglass has mild, but widespread flaking but is very presentable imo. Pics will include front and back of backglass so you can see what i mean.

-Right slingshot plastic is broken at lower-left corner.

-Upper-left pf plastic above/behind u-turn has small piece of plastic missing/cracked off in an inconspicuous area.

-2 drop targets of the 8-bank have been replaced with repro blue Stern 'S' targets.

-Big drop target between entrances/exits of U-turn is not original (it's white) but works fine and is the right size.

-7000 red arrow insert at top of pf raised slightly, put a square of mylar to minimize it's effect on ball travel.

-Drop targets have paint wear.

-front- left side of head has panel very slightly separated from head (but still attached ok). Pics will give a better idea.

-Cab and head have scratches/gouges. Front of cab drilled for coin door lock bar.

-One display has faded digits on left side (outgassing? Still works fine otherwise).

Pros: game works 100%, plays fast and mean like all classic Sterns should. :D

-Mpu board has minimal battery corrosion. Removed battery when i got the game, installed memory cap, replaced bad components around battery area including new RAM and new socket, a few transistors, diodes, etc. Neutralized acid damage as well as i could. New 15k uf cap for 5 volt supply on solenoid driver board.

-Repinned many connectors on boards, replaced some header pins, re-flowed others).

-Fixed grids for insert lights next to drop targets, so all those lights work properly (also have upgrade 555 lamp boards for same area and Nine Ball bonus counter above flippers, but they aren't installed).

-Re-capped sound board.

-New headers and female connector pins+housings for rectifier board.

-8 drop target bank works properly.

-some new lamp sockets under pf, all lights work, though some can be a bit dim or intermittent (though any problem lamps appear to be socket issues, and i will try to have them all working properly in time for the show)

I think that covers it all, but feel free to ask any other questions/request more pics. It's a player's game, but i think it plays great! Again, for more pics just click here: https://m.imgur.com/a/fuqyt

Also, fwiw I've read that the hard-top guys are planning on making a NB hard-top and CPR is supposedly planning on making repro pf's sooner or later. Not sure how soon in either case though, so it will probably be a long time from now (if ever)...
