Up for sale is my '72 Bally Fireball. I bought this two years ago but now need the space.

The game plays as it should. The skill shot, spinning disk, zip flippers, and multi-ball are all 100% functional. When I bought the game, I replaced the incandescent lights with LED's. Of note is the top of the playfield above the skill shot. If you look at stock fliers of the game when it was released, these had red inserts, but most you see today are white. I re-added red inserts and put in red LED's to bring back the original effect.

There is some planking on the playfield. It might not be clear in the photos, but clear if you see it in person. There is wear at the shooter alley, the exit ramp of the skill shot, and to the left of all three pop bumpers. The plastics are all intact but some of the clear plastics show slight burn/browning marks from incandescent bulbs over the years. With the LED's, further marks are no longer an issue. The back glass is in very good condition. Maybe a small scratch here and there, but overall in nice shape. The glass above the playfield is (I believe) original and does have some scratches. I did buy brand new pop bumpers that I have not gotten around to installing, but they will go with the game.

The cabinet and back-box have nicks and scratches. The back box is missing a few chips. I've tried to highlight these in the photos. I would put the overall condition between good-fair.

I have had absolutely NO major problems with this game. I just need the space. The only issue this game has ever had is that once in a while the ball would not shoot all the way into the shooter alley. It would stop right at the lip. I adjusted the height of the game and afterwards hardly ever had that problem again. I thought about just replacing the assembly but decided I'd leave that for the next owner.

Fireball is a very iconic pinball table, and very innovative for its time. It is a classic for a reason. They threw a lot into making this game and it plays really well. It makes you work for the points, that's for sure. I hate to see it go but time to move it on to a collector who has a deeper appreciation for the EM era.
