This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own one of the most unique pinball games in existence. Whether you are a fan of the title itself, collect pre-production games, or have to have the rarest of games, then you need to pay attention to this ad.

First a little history. I am the second owner of the game, and I have had it in my home collection for over 12 years. In that time there have been less than 50 more games played on it, as I always had a production Sorcerer available to play at the time. The retailer that sold me the game in Chicago claims that the game was brought to them by the original owner, who used to work at Williams. The explanation goes that this employee was given a choice of one of the System 9 games on the floor that year as a bonus, and he chose this Sorcerer.

The game is without a doubt the MOST different from it's production game than any other sample, pre-production, or prototype game I have ever seen. The color scheme on this game is predominantly green and blue, as opposed to the orange and black of the production game. The plastics have a serpent motif that matches the border of the backglass versus the stone wall on the production game. When I received the game, there was no speech board, and the sound board had an intact jumper installed. Having a spare speech board, I decided to plug it in, and cut the jumper. Lo and behold, SPEECH! So the coding is in the level 1.1 software, but the board and roms were not. Also, there is no flashing "eyes" plastic, nor provision for any of the wiring in the back portion of the playfield. Some of the lettering on the playfield is applied with a mylar sticker, and is of a different font. (Adv Red "X" w/l in front of the ramp). Game has a nickel coin door as opposed to a black painted door. Slight variation of the stenciled artwork on the cabinet, and translucent orange flipper buttons. Serial number on the game is 53220015.

Incidentally, pictures of this exact game have been on the IPDB for Sorcerer since before I purchased it. They are still up on the site.

Overall condition of the game is excellent! The game is a true survivor. Yes it has some minor playfield wear, but the game HAS been played, mostly by it's original owner, as I have only preserved it since buying it. "Wear consists of some insert edges, and minor ball swirl in the playfield. No broken plastics, targets, etc. Minor edge and corner wear on the cabinet, although it's in excellent shape. The one of a kind backglass is flawless.

When I got the game I did a very minor tune up with some new flipper parts, and bulbs, as well as a very quick playfield clean and wax. That's it. I didn't want to destroy the originality of any of the game. It plays 100% without errors. Boards are all good, although the batteries have been taken out, there is the slightest bit of corrosion on the lower right battery terminal itself ONLY. No board or trace damage is evident. Displays are good as well.

Pictures below should be enough to give you an idea of the condition, but I realize potential buyers may want specific pictures or more detail. Please send SPECIFIC requests for pictures or information.

I have bought and sold hundreds of games in my 20 plus years of collecting pinball games. I can help with the logistics of shipping this game as necessary.

If you do not agree with what I'm asking for the game, I am ALWAYS willing to listen to offers, and negotiate depending on the terms of the sale. I am not looking for trades, as I am selling what few games I have left in my collection.

Would really like to see this game in a new home where it will be valued and played. If you have even the slightest interest, please don't hesitate to reach out and discuss your situation.

Thanks for your interest!
