Considering trading my 1980 Black Knight. Just got this up and running.
Good:
1. All boards completely reworked and repaired by expert (not me! Ha). Boards working 100%. New rottendog power supply.
2. LEDs on top playfield
3. New rubber rings
4. Playfield is very good
5. AC plug replaced
6. Playfield cleaned/waxed
7. Replaced left bottom flipper coil and both flipper cabinet switches.
8. New target decals on all 12 targets.
9. New shooter rod assembly
10. Plays really well
Could be better:
1. Backglass is not in good shape but all original
2. Playfield wear at top and small spot down on the main area
3. Occasionally the ball trough kicks out two balls instead of one.
4. Some scratches on cabinet and rust on legs
5. Target mechs could use a good cleaning
6. Couple of displays would benefit from replacing/repair but mostly work (see pics). Player 1 and 2 are ok.
7. Playfield glass and lockbar would benefit from being replaced.
Looking to trade for other working 80s Solid State games like Comet, Sorcerer, Getaway etc. Willing to add $ if needed.
Game is located in Nashville, TN but would be willing to travel up to 2 hours any direction.
