For sale is this Flash (1979), this machine plays very fast and is incredibly fun, if I had more room I'd keep it, unfortunately only have room for 2 and one has to go. Condition-wise the backglass is decent, some touchups via a previous owner and typical flaking on some of the red areas. Playfield art is good, only real wear on it is around the '5' on one of the bonus numbers (pictured), I've cleaned and waxed this machine. Cabinet is good, slight chip in the front all the way at the bottom (pictured). It has a Rottendog combo MPU327 board in it, normal PSU board with new caps (including Cap filter). Displays all work and function just fine, no missing segments.

Not much work likely needed on it except possibly the sound board caps in the future and the Upper right flipper will likely need a rebuild at some point but power and playing-wise is still 100% and has no issues making shots. The sound currently is perfectly fine and functions 100% no issues. Below is a list of what I've done to it since getting it.

- LEDs on everything except flashers (1SMD non ghosting) so not overly bright

- New rubbers (Titan competition, Flippers are the 'Low-bounce' variety so no flipper hop/overly fast gameplay)

- Replaced Drop target boards with brand new NMP Drop sensor boards, no more fiddling with the horseshoes! I had to build a shield between the 3 bank and the lower pop bumper to prevent phantom drop indications (common with these boards and system 4-6 machines due to layout) With the shield in there it works 100% no issues.

- Brand new Drop target decals

- Brand new Cap filter to prevent resets

- Fireproofed with fuses on bridge rectifiers

- Replaced switch matrix chip on board as it's a common failure point on the RD boards (I can include extra chips as well however it unlikely will need a new one)


The machine currently is on the second level of the house but only about 10 steps total and that includes the few steps outside, straight shot. I can help getting it out with you if need be, bringing it up the steps was a breeze as it's lighter than a modern pin. I can also bring it down to the garage for a cash and carry quick transaction.
