Beautiful Congo - looks and plays as close to new as possible. What went into this restore:
- Color DMD
- New cabinet decals installed
- New rails, lockdown bar, legs & levelers
- New coindoor
- New backbox speaker panel & display window
- New plastics
- New right ramp
- New shooter assembly
- Silicone rubbers throughout
- Quality LEDs in playfield and backbox (Cointaker or equivalent)
- Custom game-specific target covers
- Playfield completely torn down & polished
- All metal hardware replaced with new where possible or polished by hand
- All three flippers rebuilt
- Pops rebuilt
- All coil sleeves replaced
- All switches dialed in
- Boards sent out and bulletproofed by Eugene Mosh, batteries off the board
- Slight wear at Map, Skill Fire and Jungle Jackpot inserts, and Mystery saucer - see pic
- Mirror blades installed
- New playfield glass
- Original manual

No detail was overlooked but please note this is not a high-end restore. This pin would look right at home in a lineup. But you can’t eat off the inside of the cabinet and although the cabinet is totally solid the area under the head is not perfect but with the head up you can’t tell. The back was repaired due to some wood loss around the bottom / back so as part of the repair I glued and nailed in a ¼ x 1” wood strip along the bottom back edge to ensure strength. Probably overkill but that’s how I do things. See pic.
