Looking to sell (or trade) my Guardians of the Galaxy Pro (July 2021 build) with official side art, plastic protectors, and upgraded coil stops. IC will be removed unless the trade includes one (or for an extra $200). For trades I’m interested in Jurassic Park, Metallica, Godzilla or possibly Rush.
The good: The playfield has the normal stern dimples but it is in overall great shape and the machine plays perfectly. It has been on route since NIB but it gets cleaned and inspected weekly. Cabinet is flawless. It plays like new.
The bad: unfortunately the groot jaw motor has been intermittently failing since day one. I currently have it disabled (virtual lock) and put in a warranty call to Stern who sent me a new motor. I have not yet installed it but probably will soon since it’s at my home now and I’ll have time to work on it at my convenience. That should resolve that issue.
The ugly: day one the playfield had some damage to the left of the scoop. I reported it to Stern and after several months, they finally sent me a cliffy - but it doesn’t quite cover the accumulated wear. I’ve heard it’s a common issue with this game. After a follow up, Stern is sending me a new unpopulated playfield and clear coat kit.
Total plays 5727 - that will go up as I continue to play it at home.
