For TRADE: Zaccaria Devil Riders

Listing as TRADE ONLY (for now) is my 1984 Zaccaria Devil Riders...

...because while I actually love nearly everything about this Zac machine: the design, art, tech, sound, gimmiks, cab, etc., the gameplay just isn't ticking for me. It's fun as heck to get to the upper PF and get the cycle loopinge and whistling, but the lower pf geometry is odd and I find myself getting aggravated? I dunno. Can't put my finger on it. So figured I'd see what's out there.

As for this DR, I acquired it DOA in March and it's running great now:

- Freshly shopped with new rubbers, flippers, and tasteful LEDs throughout; fresh fast wax. PF has a few minor wear spots which I left alone.

- Flipper, ramp lift, pop bumper, and drop target mechs cleaned and serviced (new stops, sleeves, etc). New O-ring for rider mech.

- Boards are clean all-original Zacs with matching SNs and no hacks. I installed Freeplay ROMs and remote AA holder (NVRAM is hard to find these days). I recapped the sound and power boards; installed new GI bridge on PS. Only gripe is PS watchdog circuit is cut (a common Zac "hackfix") because the BC323 needed to fix it properly is also HTF at the moment. A spare display unit is also presently installed in P3 position since the glass on the original board was flaky. If I keep the game (or you really desire) I'll probably put the better glass on the original-SN P3 board.

- The transformer's unique (unobtanium) voltage selector fuse cap was missing when I got the game. I installed an in-line fuse holder by connecting internally for function, while still allowing servicing of the fuse. If this game ever goes back overseas you'd simply have to move the internal wire to the proper voltage terminal.

- Cab is in great shape: not 100% perfect, but solid and clean with just a few minor scrapes and bumps. Legs nicely painted to match in a previous life, with some chipping near bolts.

- Original Zaccaria-branded pf glass is in great shape (minor scuffs/scratches but nothing offensive or distracting). Original BG has some minor flaking but looks great when installed. 3D plastic art board is in excellent shape. Neon works!

- Any other details you want to know, please ask. If you're local, come see it!

So going back to my intro: I love the design of this game and want to keep a ZAC in my collection. But I suspect I'd enjoy a Farfalla, Time Machine, or Locomotion even better ;) Now I figure the odds of trading for any of those relative rarities are low, let alone locally, BUT you never know, so I'm asking.

I could maybe entertain other trades or offers, so let me know what else you have that's fair. Projects are OK and probably preferred ;) Local-ish (regional weekend/day-trip max) no-ship deals are also preferred.
