For sale: Count-Down

Excellent condition Count-Down with new CPU (ni wumpf), new power supply (rottendog), and new driver board (ni wumpf).

Game works 100% (all lights, flippers coils, targets, displays, pop bumper, saucer)

This is a very clean machine. I wonder if it was a  home use only. 

Playfield paint is gorgeous. The soft white LED's I put in the playfield lamp sockets give the playfield inserts much more brilliance than the incandescents. The playfield lights are bright, yet comfortable on the eyes. Lamps are all working.

Backglass colors are not faded (which this era of Gottlieb is notorious for). The reds have not turned pale over 43 years. I've never seen one like mine where the astronaut looks like he actually has a tan! Colors are awesome. 

Mechanical guts are clean with a lot of shine.  

The backglass had some bits of flaking so I adhered a sheet of mylar on the backside to preserve it well.

Cabinet has a few dings from items obviously bonked into it. 

The simple rule set, the abundance of targets to shoot at, the rhythms of the game play, and the really fun backhand shot opportunities make it one of my favorites. It's a sweetheart of a machine and I will miss it. You will love it. you are definitely not buying a project game here, and that in itself is worth a lot.

Included is a virtually mint condition Count-Down manual with schematics.
