I purchased this Seawitch a few years ago and gave it a full top to bottom overhaul. Sold it to a friend and then took it back on a trade in 2021 where I set it up and gave it another tune up and it is once again good to go!
At some point, maybe right out of the box, someone installed mylar over the playfield. Due to this, the playfield is in amazing original condition with vibrant original colors!!!
Overall the machine is in great condition and plays great! We have run this machine in a few league events and tournaments and it has held up very well!
When I first had the machine here is what I did:
Installed a new Altek CPU
Had the legs powder coated white and installed blue cabinet protectors on the front
New leg bolts and leg levelers installed
I painted the back of the machine and the head and did some other minor cabinet touchups
Stripped the playfield, cleaned everything and all new rubber installed
New CPR plastic set installed
New Siegecraft adapters installed to allow for LED’s
Full LED job on all bulbs (playfield and backbox).
New coin door stickers
Flippers rebuilt
All drop target banks rebuilt and all new drop targets installed
Shooter rod rebuilt with new springs
New flipper cabinet switches
Installed new apron cards
New ball installed
All displays are working and in great condition
I went through all the electronics and mechanics to make sure everything was working as it should. (cleanes switches, board upgrades, new coils where needed, new diodes and capacitors where needed, repining connectors where needed etc)
Recently I have done the following:
Cleaned the playfield, installed all new rubber including yellow silicone flipper rubbers and a blue shooter tip rubber.
Went thought the entire machine again and made sure everything was working as it should.
Did a few paint touch ups on the cabinet since I still had the paint
Replaced the credit display
At some point in the history of this machine a mouse or mice chewed a bunch of insulation on random wires. I addressed a lot of it but there are still a few areas that still have electrical tape (see video). In some areas I was able to remove the tape and use some shrink tube to clean things up but some areas are just not easily accessible. In the last few years that my friend and I have owned this machine there have been no issues relating this.
Pingulp not included.
