Wanted
This is probably not posted the right way but I could not figure out how to post a want ad for reburbishment services...
I have a Star Wars (DE). It was a gift (?!?) and I received it in 2014. It was my first pin and now I have a few. At the time it had been recently refurbished by Mark Bakula, who appears to be a pretty big deal and to have spoken at the Pinball Expo, etc. But I can’t seem to locate him on the internets.
Anyway, at this point, I would say the machine is ok. It’s running 1.03, not the most recent code that has been created. I generally think it needs a tune up. I need to learn a lot more about maintenance of a machine but I think the playfield could use some love, flippers and slings needs to be tuned up, etc. I would also be interested in considering some additional upgrades, such as color DMD, LED’s, upgrading to 1.04 game code, etc. The kinds of things that would allow this machine to stand up better to my other machines (Attack from Mars Remake, Monster Bash Remake, AIQ).
I am located on the near west side of the Chicago suburbs and am looking for someone who would be interested in (1) taking a look at the machine and giving me their opinion and (2) doing the work.
Thanks for your help.
