Condition: Fully restored (full original status)
$ 8,500 (OBO)

For the Williams purist, a fully restored Monster Bash. I've owned this the 2nd longest of any pin in my collection, over 10 years (first place is Twilight Zone, HUO and I've had it 15 years, no it's not for sale). I bought a good Monster Bash, and at some point decided to go all out and have it fully restored, as it was my wife's and my favorite game. New, professionally clearcoated playfield, cabinet completely sanded down and re-decaled, new plastics, new rails, lockdown bar, glass, legs, etc. etc. Not only was it a full physical restore, the game play was meticulously paid attention to. Anyone who has ever played my game has said how beautifully it plays.
I will be one of the last ones to put down Chicago Gaming games...I am completely happy they are re-making the classics. But, everyone who has played both knows the play of the remakes vs. the originals feels "different". This is an original, and plays just so smoothly and wonderfully, it is the classic that everyone fell in love with.
I tried to take plenty of pics to show the condition. In my mind it is perfect except for the following:
- The right upper corner of the head got a ding from being too close in the line-up to another game.
- Even though it was a new, clearcoated playfield, you can tell the Creature hole has a nick or so.
- Same with the shooter lane...it's always been in my home, but shows a touch of wear.
Extras include Laseriffic topper, mirror blades, color display, clear flipper buttons, and better speaker.
I would indeed be open to trades. Feel free to ask, but for sure no projects and no "players condition" games please. I am looking to get some level of cash plus a pin on a trade, so unless it's a fabulous deal, no recent Stern LEs, for example, thank you. Feel free to ask about anything, but currently more towards:
"A" title EMs (3 inch flippers only)
80s games like Blackout, EATPM, etc.
1990s games like T2, Fish Tales
You get the idea, but it doesn't hurt my feelings for you to ask (again, no projects or player condition games, I like nice things)
I would love you to play it and examine to see how wonderful it is, come on by. Understand that's not always going to be possible, willing to ship if you arrange (easy access no stairs). Willing to drive a couple hours from KC to meet for the right deal, I've been known to make a drive or 10 for pinball. Haven't so many of us.
I have over $12,000 into the game over the years, but with the remakes, well, prices change, my wife and I had a ton of love for this game, no regrets!
I have a number of Pinside references if needed. I try to be a great member of the pinball community, hope you do too.
I tried to take a lot of pics to show all that I can think of that you might care about.
It's still for sale until I get a small deposit from someone, at that point I will mark it as sale pending so there are no questions. Until you see sale pending, it's out there.
Thank you
