I decided to go through all of the steps to produce my own topper to the standards I felt was needed for a Terminator 2 pinball topper. Specifically, it always kind of bugged me to have a plastic topper, or something with stickers, or something that was just thrown together or made from third party products - although often those did look very nice, to me they lack a certain commercial appeal. But especially, for me a terminator endoskeleton is metal!

I wired it up so that the eyes and mouth light up according to the endoskeleton on the playfield (mouth lights when the terminator speaks etc)

Everything was CAD designed, machined, laser etched, waterjet cut, and properly wired to be very nice, secure, and professional.

I shared this in the Terminator 2 owners thread, and people seemed interested in it, and I got a number of requests from people who were interested in having me create one for them.

Now, the following week, I've tallied up the people interested and am able to do a group deal for anyone who wants in on it where it will be $185 + shipping.

It looks like the cost of shipping will be around $20-$35 depending on where in the United States you live, and if you are over seas I can do it, but am still scouting prices on that (looks like USPS might be the most affordable way to ship overseas).

In order to bring it in at this price I needed to be sure to have enough people interested, so to secure the commitment I would like a $50 up front deposit, and the remaining amount due upon completion of the topper. I will be able to ship all toppers within 1 to 2 weeks of receiving the deposit.

Please ask any questions or comment in the thread, but to secure the actual commitment please PM me for details on where to send payment. Here is an animated gif of the topper "working": http://i.imgur.com/P4SCrPs.gif

Here is a lousy cell phone camera video of the above gif: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRdc_6n8ANw

And finally, the metal being waterjet cut (i think it's pretty neat to see): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwCMHzpq-uY

I am attaching some pictures of the design process and of course the finished product.

Again, please PM me if you are interested - I am only accepting a small deposit of $50 at this point to secure the commitment before I spend on all of the materials and shop time.
