FOR SALE, 1988 Bally Escape from the Lost World in pretty nice condition. I received this in a trade deal, and while fun to play, I'm not planning on keeping this one.
It plays exactly as it should, very fast. All the lights, coils, and sounds work. Displays are crisp and bright.
Machine has the original screened playfield glass, LED lighting (except flash lamps), Lighted green flipper buttons, color changing backglass illumination, excellent looking playfield with very little wear. No battery damage to the MPU, and it already has an external lithium button cell battery.
I replaced the rubber in the machine, including green flipper rubber. Added new pinballs, Rebuilt the plunger springs, and reflowed solder on all the cold solder joints. Flash lamp fuse boards was bad, but works as good as new now.
Plastics are in great shape, only one small chunk missing above the outhole. See pic. Cabinet art looks above average compared to others I've seen online. A little bit of swelling around the bottom from moisture as some point. Someone added a clear L-channel molding around the base of the cabinet, it looks really nice!
Compared to the $2500 machine on eBay, this one is far superior.
Check out the pics, PM if you have any other questions.
Would consider trade for low end DMD.
