I've owned this Firepower for around 17 years. It was clearcoated sometime around 2005 if I recall correctly. I was using Diamond Varathane then and this one came out nicely (see photos). The pf is in excellent condition. The backglass is a 'pink reproduction' variant that I was told was run by Williams many years ago. It's in great condition looks fantastic albeit a tad on the pink side. The game has Kohout reproduction CPU and driver boards. It has a demon inside. Sometimes it boots and runs flawlessly. Sometimes it boots and runs like it has a switch matrix problem with the upper kickout popping once per second and a few other oddities. I looked into this years ago but have forever been distracted with other games, restorations, and projects. When it's tournament time, we power it up and see what kind of attitude it has. About 60% of the time - we play it. The other 40%, we chalk it up to having hormone issues and leave it alone. It's time to send Firepower to a new home.

I would put this playfield up against just about any other . . .
