Surf Champ is a 1976 pinball game designed by Ed Krynski and released by D. Gottlieb & Company. 1,070 produced. ipdb.org ranks this as the #8 EM game of all time. I have put a fair amount of restoration work into this game. New rubber, plastics, palnuts, shooter springs x2, spinner, spinner decal, pop bumper skirts, non-adhesive bumper mylars and coin door lock. All bad bulbs replaced. Cleaned inside thoroughly. Includes manual and schematic. Backglass and playfield are probably a 7 out of 10. Cabinet maybe 5 out of 10 due to some typical route damage that could be restored if desired. The game powers on but is not fully working. It most likely needs work on the reset relays and/or score reel zero position switches, however, in the process of restoration I have been able to confirm that the entire playfield is functioning. Currently, the score motor is spinning and the game does not reset.
Please note that over the past year, the average price of this game on eBay has been $1212.25. I am aware that eBay is not realistic for pinball prices, I have reduced my original asking price. I will also consider trades. Serious offers only. Low ballers get in line now...
