Made a special trip here to play some pinball and check out a couple games I'd never played before. Got there around 5:30 this evening, a Wednesday. My wife and I were the first customers. Elvis and Bowie were coming thru the speakers and it was happy hour which I think was two bucks off drafts and a dollar off well drinks. Good selection of beers on tap. Bartender was friendly. Pins were in great shape and I was feeling pretty great about the place!
But then, at 7:30, we were unceremoniously kicked off the machines for Open Mic Night. We were bummed. Otherwise, 5th Estate is pretty great. Sadly, I didn't get much time on The Champion Pub or Creature, but Monster Bash looked and sounded great and played as it should. Tron seemed to be in perfect working order -- I'll never get over that animated teeny tiny Tron Arcade Cabinet mod. Best mod ever.
