The following games are listed for this location.
Without a doubt the best laundromat on the planet. They only had a handful of the games available but they were all great. I have always been disappointed with medieval madness machines on site but this one was clean and played very well. Worth a visit now and double that when the rest of the machines are available.
You really have to see this place to believe it. When you come in, there is a pair of dryers in the back of the room. Pull them open, and you will see a room with twenty-three (!) pinball machines, a photo booth, and a wine/beer bar. Hands down the best place to play pinball in NYC.
Oh, and make sure you bring at least $20. You will never get bored in here!
I think sunshine has the best curated collection of games there is. Every one seems to be a classic. Nice owner and staff as well. Games maintained well, though I noticed some are set at a higher pitch than center of bubble level.
It's easy to get blown away when you enter Sunshine. It scores very high on three of my judging factors for barcades - excellent machine selection, tip-top condition, and fair cost to play (75 cents a game). The owner is also very nice and willing to chat pinball at length.
However, as I stayed and played for a few hours, I became quite annoyed by a few factors that run against my own criteria. I expect the replay scores to be set to a fair level. At Sunshine, however, the replay scores are TURNED OFF COMPLETELY! The best you can hope for is an extra ball, and those are set very high. Also, I expect the tilt sensitivity to be fair - most of these machines tilted ridiculously easily (my wife never shakes a machine hard enough to tilt it, and she tilted a few times). I also think the ball save is turned off on most of the machines, because I've played most of them before and found that these machines are pretty stingy in that area.
It's definitely worth a visit if you're in New York (it's a short walk from the Greenpoint Station on the G line) but if you're a strictly average player like me, you will likely spend more money on pinball here than in other venues with a higher cost per game.
