Best bang for the buck. One more reason I'm proud to be from Jersey.

This is the ultimate pinball experience! The machines are well maintained, and if there is some sort of issue with a machine that affects scoring, specials, and/or other aspects of play, just let them know, and they will fix the issue. They are constantly removing the glass tops, and waxing the playing surfaces. On a bad note, the one thing you will not find here is pinball etiquette of any sort. It's like the gawkers think that they should always have the right of way, and will make no attempt to squeeze around you while you're having an awesome ball. They will congregate in areas, having a casual conversation, while blocking access to 4 or 5 machines. My favorite is the young couples who think they should be able to pass double-file behind you, so that they don't need to stop holding hands to get by. Still, this is the place to be! And uh.... just to toot my own horn some, if you check out the high score boards, you will find my name on a few of them, especially the Goittleib machines from the 70's.

I did forget to mention one thing. You really can't go by the list on this site, because they have another location and a warehouse, and the inventory changes often as they wheel one out, and bring another one in.

Top notch in quality and quantity ,a must do for EM pinball enthusiasts.
You wont be disappointed.

The BEST place in North America to play pinball---No Doubt!!!
They have it all here, quality pins, professional staff, and awesome
decor w/ a little snack bar in the center of it all.
If I only lived nearby, but I'm 2500 miles from home!!!

I usually don't like to play EMs but after a visit to the Silverball Museum that changed. I especially grew fond of the zipper flipper games. Th Silverball Museum is a great place to visit and it's a must do for EM lover's.

This place is a lot of fun. The machines are pretty well cared for and there are plenty of them (I counted about 115 today, not including skee ball and video games).

It's good to see a lot of families with kids there. I agree with Kaytrox's comment that the pinball etiquette of the patrons is poor, but I take that as a good sign that the place has broad appeal and may be around for awhile.

I also agree with Kaytrox's comment about the games list -- they cycle them in and out pretty frequently.

If I could change one thing about the Silverball: I wish they got more of the newer games (e.g., Tron, AC/DC, Star Trek). I know that Rob (the owner) is really an EM guy, so I'm not that surprised. They have WOZ (presumably because of the NJ connection), but the next newest machine after that is Elvis from 2004.

Had a great time. Plan on getting a night at a nearby hotel in the summer, so we can hit the beach, drive to Newark for a New York Red Bull game, and, of course, be close to the Silverball again. Great games, great condition on many of them. My only negative would be the list on pinside and on their site does not match up. I see they have a warehouse, and space is limmited even in that pretty large area they have, just grumpy I couldnt play Bobby Orr!

Highlight of my weekend wedding trip to the Jersey shore. Seriously. Made a pinball fan out of me. They just aren't around where I live.

Was in town for a music festival last summer and stumbled across this place. First word that comes to mind is... WOW! I can say that I have never seen that many classic pinballs in one place that were in that AMAZING condition. They were all beautiful pieces of art. Almost new out of box condition. Wish we had more time to play all of them. Def worth the visit.

Amazing selection of machines and all well-maintained. I could have stayed there all day.

Excellent!! The pins are always in great shape. The employees are very friendly. The VIP membership is a good value. The recent expansion looks great. You can BYOB. It's a great place to host kids birthday parties. The least crowded time to go are weekday mornings especially in the winter.
