Garden City Pavilion

3 pins on site:

1. Pirates of the Caribbean
2. Indiana Jones (stern)
3. The Walking Dead
(NASCAR is gone)

7/27/12- Nascar is gone, POTC and Stern IJ are still as noted above

8/20/13 - Added Sharkey's Shootout. All pins are now clean and serviced. Only issue was the POTC rotating compass wasn't working.

11/24/2013 - potc was dirty, ship broken, but spinning compass worked. I really enjoyed indiana jones. Left flipper had power, but was twitchy if you tried to hold it up. Upper level was closed until March.

6/25/14 : Only pin left is Pirates of the Caribbean. So Sad - Such a let down.

7/1/2014: Stopped in today and POTC and IJ4. POTC has a broken flipper band hanging on the right flipper. The maintenance on these pins is lacking to say the least... I played IJ4 a bunch. Left flipper is still twitchy. 8ball Mb is fun

6/10/2015: NASCAR replaced with new TWD in excellent condition. IJ4 and POTC are both fully functional, but a bit dirty. IJ4 left flipper a bit twitchy, and both flippers a little weak. All three games totally worth playing and worth the drive from Myrtle Beach. Tokens are about $.33. POTC and IJ4 are 3 tokens. TWD is 4 tokens.

7/4/2015: TWD is awesome. They even updated the code within a few days of stern releasing it while i was in town.

2/18/2016: Sharky's Shoot Out, Pirates, and Walking Dead. Tech was working on machines when I was there getting ready for the season.

7/22/2016: Sharkys is upstairs tucked away in a corner. I almost missed it. Kinda wish i had. Its in rough shape. Pops barely work. Terrible lean to the right. I walked away mid game.
TWD is showing its age from being basically exposed to the elements at the beach. Playfield was dirty, face inside the prison mostly didnt register hits so starting prison mb was pretty much not possible. Balls were rusty looking. Tilt was tight so there was no nudging game to save balls from draining. One time i knocked down all 3 drops on right and game didnt recognize them until the next ball. So that meant no real progress could be made for modes...
Potc was working and playable, even the boat!

6/27/2017: POTC, TWD, Ghostbusters. I didn't bother to go upstairs to see if shark eyes was up there.

TWD had a couple issues. Some/most of the time one or more of the drop targets didn't register as being down. So after they were down it didn't reset them, and didn't start a mode. Made it impossible to start modes. It did work sometimes but most of the time no. Had to call the tech over when a ball dropped back into the trough. The game didn't recognize the jammed trough and no ball search. Tech didn't know how to clear the ball up into the shooter lane until I showed him. Also the face in prison was flakey to register hits. After reading my review of the game above from last year, it seems they have done nothing to work on the functionality of the game.

Ghostbusters was 100% working and volume was way loud. Seems common with the spike games ive played on location. Ghostbusters needs some adjustments... left scoop shoots SDTM. I saved it a couple times but had to move enough to get a warning.

8/22/2017 - Sharkey's Shootout, which was upstairs, is now gone. It's an arcade graveyard up there with broken games and empty bid cabinets taking up one end of the upstairs floor. GB was leaning to the left something awful. Left scoop still kicks back SDTM. Tilt is pretty liberal so a big shakecan save it.

Nov 2019 all pins removed :-(
