Flippers Arcade & Lasertag

The owner of this place also owns Outer Banks Amusement (http://outerbanksamusements.com) which operates and services pins at other locations in the area. Pins get rotated on a regular basis so it can be hard to keep the list up to date. The list on Flippers' web page isn't accurate so I'd recommend calling ahead if you really want to know if something is there or not. (joshidx)

Visited 8/2014 three times during a vacation to the OBX. First of all, great collection. Nearly every A list game you might want to play, and most in amazingly well-kept condition! Plenty of solid states in the back, as well.

I just went to this place 6-27-13 and played pins for 6 hours with a few friends. This place is amazing. It has almost every top 30 machine and multiple limited additions. I'll try and remember everything they had and update the game list but the owner apparently has so many machines that there are several not on site that he rotates out. Either way if you like pins and are within 3 hrs of this place it's worth it. Each game is 2 tokens and you can get 100 tokens for $20. GO THERE!!!!!!!! (alsmith1)

They just had their grand opening last weekend (12-17-2011).....Over 50 machines.......Merry X-mas indeed! This is a dream come true for pinball fans in our area!! Going back this weekend, and I will try to get a full list of machines!

Got a complete games list today

Just want to add to the above. The games rotate frequently but there were more great games there than I could count. WELL WORTH THE TRIP. THANK YOU FLIPPERS FOR THE GREAT ENVIRONMENT!!!

WOW!!! Super nice place. Visited 8/2015. Great collection. Most machines 50 cents per play or 5 for two dollars. A new Outer Banks tradition for my family vacation.

8/2016 - Can't say enough good about this place.. We stopped in on the way home from the beach, and it will become an annual tradition for sure... Get off the island and over that bridge early, then spend some quality time at flippers!! Out of at least 60 pins, I only remember seeing 2 with out of order signs, and all of them looked to be in EXCELLENT condition. Ironically, my biggest disapointment was a loose joystick on a williams multi-game.. I was really looking forward to playing Joust on a REAL machine again, but with that joystick, I decided to save the tokens for the pins, which did not disappoint. Come to think of it, every pin I saw in every little arcade on OBX during my week was in really good shape, so I suspect this operator takes care of them all.. Well done!!

5/2021 - The pins have all been moved to the back and set to free play (Save for a few premium games which require credits that are located in the main room). You can purchase an hour, two hours, or all day of access to the pinball machines for a great price! They also just opened an entirely new room dedicated to older pins. Most machines I played were working pretty well, although many had one or two minor issues and a handful weren't playable when I was there. Them being on free play now definitely makes starting a game on a broken machine more bearable now. For the most part though, I was pleased with the overall maintenance quality. - I completely re-did the game's list to reflect what games were and weren't there when I visited on 5/30/20201.

Great place to play, played in their first pinball tournament came in 4th place. Need to get there and enjoy the pins without being in tournament mode

They didn't have Space Station, LOTR, POTC, FGY, Flash Gordon, TSPP, Star Wars, CSI, Captain Fantastic, or the '78 Star Trek when I was there a few weeks ago. Seems that they got an X-Men, Sopranos, IJ (Williams), and HS though.

Went yesterday they have almost every top game you can imagine!!! WOZ was down and I wanted to cry... Will I ever get to try this game???

This place is great. A new Outer Banks family vacation tradition. Fantastic collection.

I was happy to see Hercules in great condition at the spring tournament. I've never seen the spinner spin before, I always thought that was a misnomer!

Great place to visit if you are in the area. All of the games bring back that old arcade feel, if only for a little while.

Just finished our 2019 vacation. Stopped at Flippers a total of three times, on the way to Kitty Hawk, Tournament night (Wednesday) and when leaving OBX. Was able to play Black Knight SOR, Alice Cooper, Willy Wonka some of the newer releases. As well as TNA, Metallica, Star Trek, Dead Pool, Monster Bash and a few others. Looks like I'll be heading back soon. Why wait until my next vacation when Flippers is only 80 miles away. OBX best bang for your buck stop-over. Fill up your gas tank and get some food. Don't forget to purchase T-shirt too.

Holy crap. This place has everything. Is this the best place I have ever been to? It might be.

Back of Flippers Arcade is a pinball museum. Over 80 pinballs to play. Most new Stern Titles and lots of classics.
All pins in back are on free play. 1 hour, $5.00, 2 hours, $9.00, Play all day $15.00. Open everyday 7am to 9pm
