Arcade Dungeon

Located next door to the Pizza Mill and Sub Factory in Alamogordo, New Mexico, the Arcade Dungeon was opened in April of 2018 with the goal of keeping classic arcade and pinball machines alive while providing a place for the public to experience an arcade setting of the past. All machines are classic pricing .25 to $2.00 depending on the era they were released. Every quarter that goes into the arcade is used solely for the acquisition, restoration, and maintenance of classic arcade and pinball machines. All attendants are volunteers.

Tried going here MANY MANY times.
Never open.
Guy in the attached pizza joint said he wants $50 to enter and pay to play. 14 machines?!?
Not sure if he's insane, racist, or what; but he's getting a big "boooo" review from *this* jerk!

Hi, DesertDUG. Just now seeing your comment. You posted this at a time when we were mandated by the government to be closed due to the pandemic. Of course we weren’t open. We were closed for over a year. The fact that we offered a solution so you could come play privately and you took it as an insult is disappointing. We require the $50 to help pay for the electricity and to have an attendant present. We have over 30 arcade games and 12 pinball machines, not to mention the air conditioning that we have to pay for when people are inside. It’s not worth it to let anyone in to play without the fee during non business hours. We volunteer our time to even have the arcade. Then you go and try to make it about race? Wow. Incredibly rude. If you couldn’t see that we were trying to hook you up when we’re we’re shut down to the public then feel free to go to another arcade.

My wife and I visited this place this evening while on vacation. We really enjoyed our time there! Her favorites were the old classic games, mine were the pinball machines. We both loved galactic tank force pinball! I had a chance to talk to one of the owners for quite a while and he was very kind and knowledgeable about it all. They even let us stay a bit past their closing time as we were running down the last of our quarters. Cool place, I'd definitely recommend people stop by here if you like classic arcade games and pinball! It is a bit of a cramped space, but thats because its loaded with machines so its really hard to even call that a negative!
