Friends, family, colleagues and loyal customers--we are sad to announce that Pixel Blast Arcade has officially CLOSED. Tier 3 Mitigations in Illinois and Covid-19 in general have forced our hand and we can no longer be in business.

This was not an easy decision, as we worked very hard to open Pixel Blast Arcade in July of 2016. It was a dream and a passion to open an arcade, but the pandemic has taken its toll and the arcade along with it.

We’ve enjoyed being your entertainment choice in the Western suburbs, playing games, hosting parties, and just talking with all of you about how you hadn’t seen some of these games in years. You shared your childhood experiences of arcade games, pinball and air hockey with your kids and grandkids. We hope reliving your own past made some of you feel like a kid again, yourself. That was always the goal of Pixel Blast Arcade -- to bring back those old feelings of joy when the simplicity of standing in front of a screen and controlling a pixelated hero for a while would transport you to another world, for just enough time to put a smile on your face. If we brought any amount of joy to you when you visited the arcade, it was all worth it. Thank you for supporting us over the last 4 years. Pixel Blast Arcade will live on in our memories.

As former arcade owners, we will carry this experience along with us throughout our lives. We thank each and every one of you for sharing this experience with us. Be safe and be well.
