Billy's Midway Arcade at 312 Lafayette Ave, Hawthorne, NJ 07506 - Phone: (973) 304-4530. This huge arcade is located on the second floor above the Celtic Corner Irish pub in the center of Hawthorne and next to the Hawthorne Movie Theater. It is directly across from the main street which has many delicious delis and restaurants (both sit-down and take-out). Fun and friendly staff. Owners Billy and Allyson Smith have this place packed with 25 pinball machines and over 100 arcade games, including an assortment of video games, air hockey, Chexx Hockey, and shuffle bowling. Games are from 1954 to 2012 and it is open everyday. Booking available for corporate, adult and kid's parties (Currently limited to play only / no food events). All the classic and some hard-to-find arcade games are here as well as great pins such as Strikes 'n Spares (Gottlieb), Old Chicago, Future Spa, Amazing Spider-man, Laser War, Capt. Fantastic and The Brown Dirt Cowboy, Road Show, Twilight Zone, Lulu (1954), Dealer's Choice, Taxi, Whirlwind, Hollywood, Mr. and Mrs. Pac-Man, Mibs, Tee'd Off, Air Aces, Dirty Harry, Hook, Flying Carpet, Terminator 2, Game Show, Night Rider and more! Games occasionally swapped out (as of 4/2022, Twilight Zone is out for repairs). Super-clean family-friendly environment - great for children and adults. All machines are set to "free play" and an hourly rate is charged as follows: $10 for a half hour, $15 for one hour, $20 for 90 minutes, $25 for 2 hours, $30 for 2 1/2 hours or more; or an all day pass for $30 which is good from opening to closing - come and go as you please. You will not be disappointed - Loads of fun!
