Poison Girl Cocktail Lounge

Full bar, no cover charge, 21 and up. In addition to pinball, there is a cocktail video game and a nice backyard patio. This is a dive bar at heart, with a punk rock vibe and an incredible playlist of alternative/indie/alt-country music playing in the background, but one with a world-class selection of whiskeys and lower prices than most anywhere else in the neighborhood. Venue is quite dark. most machines are very playable and well maintained, although the floors are like the surface of the moon, so leveling is a challenge. Their sister bar downtown is Little Dipper, with eight games and a similar, comfortable dive feel. Great spot: strongly recommend.

A fantastic set of machines in a cool atmosphere but, sadly, they're not maintained too well.

Stopped in last night, all 7 games are in unplayable condition. Very broken and very dirty. So very sad I wanted to be like Social services and steal them away like neglected children.

I've been to a lot of bars with amusement machines. For the most part it's the same story, the operator only shows up once a week, maybe. Most of the time not to maintain the games, but to collect the money. We finally got rid of the operators all together and I took over. Can't say anything about pinballs because we never had any till now. Golden tee profits increased by more then 40% though. Goes to show, doesn't take more then a little TLC. Most people won't touch a game when there is even the littlest thing wrong with it. Most people think that the operator/Owner knows. Maybe they do.. but they probably don't. More likely, they don't make enough to validate fixing them. Pinball Machines are extremely expensive to own and maintain.

All of the games are non-led and are in horrible shape. The incandescent lights are very dim and some burnt out. You couldn't even see the play fields. Sad.

A lot of improvements to the games over the last 6 months. Worth checking out again. More troublesome games have been cycled out. Games now have all LED's. Several new Sterns now in the lineup.

Good to hear things are on the upswing! Time to give it another visit!
