Noteworthy features

  • Plastic replicas of: The Erlenmeyer Flask baby, The Flukeman and Mulders file cabinet.
  • Mulders file cabinet can move up and down, allowing you to shoot a ball in the top drawer for multiball.
  • FBI Trapdoor in the playfield
  • Flukeman hides ramp divertor
  • Terma mode is the only time the flasher under the FBI trapdoor is active.

Trivia

  • The game was released in 1997 and is based on both the first 4 seasons of the TV series and the movie that was released in 1998.
  • Game features show trivia questions during certain game modes.
  • Press Launch Ball button repeatedly to increase certain awards.
  • There were 12 Neiman Marcus limited editions available in their 1997 Christmas Catalog for $6,500. They had gold flippers, a couple plaques, and a digital plaque on the DMD.

The backglass is fitted inside a 'Sega Showcase' backbox. The backbox only has one speaker from the factory.

Video mode

Trivia mode where flippers answer multiple choice questions based on the X-Files.
