I just bought one of the last Wonka CE’s left. I am so glad I was able to get my hands on one of these. I own 9 other pins and have recently had the opportunity to play a different Jersey Jack game. It was my first time playing a Jersey Jack. I fell in love and ordered 2 games including this Willy Wonka CE. I am not a Willy Wonka crazed fan, but after playing this game. I instantly was engaged in the game play. I love the rules. It is a smooth shooter, but yet a difficult challenging set of rules. I also think the artwork in incredible. Lastly the lighting. Jersey jack games are so bright and have vivid colors. I am hooked. Keep them coming Jersey Jack!

Can't stop playing WWCE! This is certainly the best pinball machine I ever played. Special effects are amazing, it's not a simple playing game, the ball will go down middle a lot if you allow on left side ramp. Highly recommend buying this game.

The CE bring a lot more to the table such as better speech, art package is awesome, and trim level is above and beyond. Game shoots smooth as always I own the SE before the CE makes it that much better. One of jjp best shooters there’s a reason I bought this tittle twice, Flippers and slings are a bit week as always with jjp games need to up the power to make them feel better you won’t be let down with this tittle it’s a sleeper don’t be fool, Family’s favorite game from our line up.

The CE, like the LE, has the Wonkavator and the Cabinet Artwork is the best of the three. I like WOZ but my wife is drawn to this game, for good reason - it is very well integrated into the theme and has some good features. I think the Wonkavator/Superball lock makes this or the LE the version to have over the Standard. A great family game, based on the 1971 movie, not the 2005 Johnny Depp one. This is a wise choice. I don't find the value in the CE over the LE though.

It's very good, not great. Very different feel than Stern and Williams.

So, this was my first JJP purchase, though I'm patiently waiting for my GnR LE. I have room for ten pins and in the past Stern held many of those spots. Im now down to just two Sterns, with a mix of other manufactures and older titles....FH, AFM, IJ, JP, SW, etc. In a room surrounded by those great titles and others, this Wonka CE stands tall.....it's not even close! It's a beautiful machine, the build quality is great and it plays AWESOME. All of my friends and family that have seen it ....LOVE it! It's interesting to see some of the classic Pat Lawlor design ideas(FH steps feels similar to the Wonka skill shot) and other fun stuff(I thought I had playfield insert issues, until I remembered that there are magnets under the playfield redirecting the ball at times). Anyway, pinball ratings are always subjective and nothing is a 10...but this Wonka CE is very close! IMO...Pinball Masterpiece!

Pat Lawlor has done it again. This game has so much to offer and do.

I would highly recommend this pin...smooth uncrowded shots and rules are well articulated. Great game for a variety of audiences yet has avenues that will challenge the pinball pros. There are moments in the buildup of multiballs where the lights and sounds put on quite an impressive show that totally immerses you into the moment. Great use of clips and sound bytes from the original movie. The music is superb and fits the theme well....enjoy!!!

Once you get some time on this game it opens up beautifully. Another top notch game by JJP!

Had a lot of fun playing this one, shots are pretty easy and not too punishing in spite of the tight lower play field.

Great game to start with but the CE makes it shine. The sparkle lightning and shot flow are amazing.

Just played at the arcade. Love the theme. A bit disappointed in the play and playfield layout. Lots of fun tough shots. Looking forward to playing it again. For all the hubbub there should be some uniqueness. Not sure I'd add it to my collection. Fun but not stellar.

Wonka is a fun game, but it is not very fast and it does not have a lot of flow. A lot of thought went into the game, but at times I feel like I am at a casino with the sounds it makes.

I am overwhelmed by how great this game is. I am playing the CE. The playfield is absolutely stunning with art, the tiny DOTS candy LEDs and magnets, and the sparkles under the clearcoat which I have never seen before. First 4 flipper game I have ever played where all 4 flippers have very specific and important use and all shots are hittable and can be set up on each flipper. The code keeps you coming back for more, with so much variety. You can choose to go for Wonka bars, or Kids, or Gobstoppers, or tickets...its endless and timeless fun. The game plays like a wide body at moments and then plays like a fast standard body at other times (particularly out of the pops!). Safe to say this game is never leaving our collection!

Lots to do to get to Pure Imagination! IMHO better in a home environment than public due to the outstanding callouts and complexity of code. The playfield is darker than I prefer. It's my only knock and easily fixed with aftermarket mods.

Shots are unique and has good theme integration.

This game feels to me like a modern day and more simple Pat Lawlor game. Great flow, no shot seems crazy tight, cool toys and amazing/beautiful/colorful playfield lights. Great use of 3rd/4th flippers. To me, if this were themed something other than Wonka, it would be higher in the list.

Update: this pin is really great, I’m really perplexed as to why it’s not rating better. The way it plays is tremendous, the rules are awesome, and the shot across into the Wonkavator to me is the most satisfying shot in Pinball. What I like about it is that it plays like a more complex version of the Addams family. It is possible to consistently control the ball, and the shots are not as tight as one of the newer Elwin games. Definitely not easy, but plays very fair. I was not into the theme at first, but the integration is so good that now I think it’s great, and quite creepy in some cases. The playfield on the collectors edition along with the LED colors is something to be seen.

one of the best pins to come out in the past 2 years.I like just about anything that Pat Lawler design's.Wonka has just about all of Pat's
shots, the one in between the pops,The 2 upper flipper shots are great. The hidden ramp,Ect! The only draw back is that is.That it can drain SDTM at times. So lots of nudging is needed. As I play it more my ball times have gotten longer,Very deep code and lots to shoot at
Another home run for JJP and Pat Lawler. The game is built like a tank.Plenty of toys as well

If you are a fan of this movie, this game is out of this world. In my opinion, it gives you all of the great lines and most of the great scenes of the movie. My young kids absolutely love the game as it's easy to play get the hang of, but difficult to master. Perfect theme for the family.

This is definitely one of the best, most playable, longest lasting pins that could have ever been created. I'll start with the few negatives of this pin: 1) It's standard body, not wide body - this is just a disservice to this pin, as it really deserves to be wide body. 2) It needs more bass - there's something tinny to the sound, but I bet they'll update this in a future release. 3) There's a bumper on the right side that often just goes haywire in certain modes, this is intentional but they need to tone it down a bit. Other than that, pure perfection.

On to the game - it's fantastic, always a joy, and I never get tired of it. I'm likely going to pare down my collection and this one will be one I'll regret selling if I sell it. The play, the rules, the movie scenes, the voices, the lights - everything about it is great and I can play it for a long time. I prefer keeping my rules on easy settings so that I can enjoy as much of this pin as possible. It's my new #2 after Pirates of the Caribbean CE, and if I didn't have that it would be my #1 but very very close in rankings with Wizard of Oz.

I look forward to seeing more creations from Jersey Jack Pinball - they really have created something special with their pins, and I have had all of their pins except Dialed In. They should be a long-lasting company who weathers the current storm - after all, if you have to stay at home why not have as many pins as possible!

We've now had our Wonka CE for nearly 10 months and 6000 plays. Our opinion of the game keeps improving!

We still play it and we're still not bored by it. We do have other pins, but we keep coming back to this one.

The goal progression (golden tickets) are structured very well such that we continue to get a tiny bit closer with time and practice...just enough to keep us hooked. My wife and I have both gotten 2 tickets a handful of times, and she beat me to 3 tickets just the other night.

We'll be playing this for a long time and it has absolutely earned its place in our home.

Beautiful work of art, terrific flow, sensational light show, addictive game play, dream theme for me. Adding Julie Dawn Cole (original Veruca Salt) to do call outs in place of Grandpa Joe, side art blades, topper, sparkle playfield, signatures of actors plate, and under cabinet lighting are wonderful bonus items in CE. Wonkavator does make a difference for me (played SE version).

The only reasons I dropped a few ratings would be due to minor items such as repetitive Gene Wilder Wonka face in art work, topper is just ok, video/voice synch inconsistent, opportunities missed to better integrate iconic movie moments into theme (don't get me wrong - there is a lot of theme moments in the game), Grandpa Joe voice overs can be slightly grating, and small hurdle to understand game rules at first but once you do... Honestly, not much to complain about in this game's playability. It comes down to personal taste whether you love this pin or not.

Overall, this game was a must buy as a dream theme. I love that it will provide long lasting game play with it's deep rules and the visuals are terrific due to coding of interactive modes that incorporate sound & lights. Bolted to the floor keeper for me! Again, just plain addictive having you want to go back for more!
