I recently bought a broken TX based on everyone's comments.Its now up and running and I couldn't agree more with everyone!
The sounds of this game are like no other,it's gotta be one of,if not the best sounding pinball machine I've ever heard.
The game is also fast and fun since I've shopped it out.It has some great shots,ramps,drop targets,multiball,it's just a fun overall game.
It won't be leaving my collection,it sits next to my mint Robowar.

XT Sector is a really trippy machine. The sound effects alone are one of a kind. Fun.

TX Sector sounds and plays like a good game. It looks absolutely horrible. I am submitting this game for worst BG, EVER. At the same time I am submitting this game for the best sounds EVER. I said EVER!

The Pros:
Cool shots and sounds. The game itself is varied and challenging. The upper flipper is very well utilized. Drop targets are nicely placed and the ball moves around the PF nicely at all times. Strong flippers are a must. I have never heard a pinball game sound like this. This game's player stock rose significantly when it appeared in the PAPA "A" bank in 2011.

The Cons:
I wish I could play pinball by braille, because this game is an abomination to look at. Constantino, what were you thinking. Actually, what was the managment thinking to get this out the door? Someone had to approve of this before it went to a trade show. That someone should be fired. Oh yeah... tiny little blue scores to read as well. Hate 'em.

Takeaway:
I had a friend who replaced the translite. I feel much better now when I step up to the game. It's a fantastic sounding and playing table. If you have not played this game... you owe it to yourself to do so. This game plays great and no other game... I mean... nothing out there sounds like this 80's sci-fi fantasy experience!

Excellent game! John Trudeau was Gottliebs version of Pat Lawlor. This game has very original designs and objectives and the light show is really good. The music is top notch. I am keeping this one for sure!!

Very fun 80's gottlieb, a hidden gem of a game to be perfectly honest. This game sits next to a pinbot in my gameroom and it easily holds its own next to this classic. The flipper play is not as good as a williams but the drop targets, pop targets etc more than make up for this. Also the music is just downright awesome for 80's synth sounds, blows Williams music out of the water. Great build quality on this pin as well. I have to say, It is one of my favorite 80's pins now. Also this game has some of the fastest pop bumper action I have ever seen outside of Twilight Zone. Seriously.
