Rated machines identical. Hate the LE and PRO crap.

This was my first NIB purchase and I don't regret it! It's easily one of my top pins and I play it all the time. It is challenging and brutal. Getting to SoS is a adrenaline rush and I have yet to make it to Portal. This pin is one of the best ones to mod and enhance. Add Eli's fiber optic kit and is very close to an LE.

I actually like the way the pro plays better than the LE

Incredible game that does just about everything right. Dial it in and the flow is awesome, perfect soundtrack (upgrade the speakers to hear it correctly), good difficulty curve, doesn't take forever to have a good game.

Tron Legacy made me a happy man. Got an insane amount of multi-balls on my first ever game. Had a lot of fun. The disc at the top of the playfield is a nice touch (a bit different and inline with the Tron theme). The cabinet and backglass do it for me. Ive been a fan of the Tron movie and games from the beginning, so im definately biased. Several interesting shots, the sounds are good, the playfield is not overloaded but works pretty well. Id love to have seen more toys, so many possibly choices. More bikes at least. Some blue LED light strips on top of the playfield, to emulate the Tron World, would've been great and could illuminate the field. If they got me to design this pinnie it would have cost them a fortune to make it :) Stern have done well. Id say it's on par with StarTrek and Batman, Spiderman, etc. One of my favourite Sterns. Less mind-blowing than Metallica but way cool all over.

TRON is a relatively simplistic game with a familiar layout, and it doesn't take that much work to get to the wizard mode compared to other games. However, what it lacks in depth, it makes up for in aesthetics. The music and sounds taken right from the movie pump you up, and the playfield and cabinet art work perfectly with it. The stock backglass is iffy, mostly featuring Flynn's face, but some of the alternate backglasses are pretty sweet and are definitely recommended as replacements. Despite a relatively familiar layout, TRON does have a few other tricks up its sleeve to keep things interesting. For one, the spinning disc at the top of the playfield. Not only does it look cool, but you get some seriously crazy bounces and rejections from it, it's really a sight to be seen. Also, the End of Line Jackpots heavily reward accurate combo-oriented play, which is refreshing (go upper loop, upper ramp, then smack the arcade on the return, and you can build good points quickly). Overall, TRON is one I highly recommend playing. If you have thought about buying one, it is also one of the better games out there to mod.

Another pin that I just don't understand why it gets such favorable reviews. I'm not a Tron fan and didn't see the movie which appears to be the problem. However, with such impressive ratings I would expect this pin to be able to somewhat stand on its' own merits. I don't believe that is the case. The disc and Tron arcade cabinet are really the only toys and poor at that. In addition, the rules aren't anything special. The neon ramps are well done and the speed of the game is fast but those aspects alone do not keep me coming back for more. A decent pin but I really believe you have to be a Tron fan to really enjoy it.

Played this at a local arcade and was thrilled as I've always been a big fan of the movies, especially the original. The playfield felt cramped and the gameplay quite poor compared to recent stern games.

I owned this but it didn't last too long in my collection. I don't get the hype but then again I love me T3 way more than Tron and loved my JM way more than MM so I guess I have weird taste in pins or you all do. Good but not Great.......

Probably the only other Stern machine I wish I had. Killer theme, killer shots, kick ass sounds and speech, and just a great immersive game. Too bad it’s so expensive.

only played this on location, but I love it. It is always the game iplay first. I find it flows great, and is fast. It is my most challenging pin i have played and I like that.

Tron is probably the best new game I have played since the 2000's. I love the music! This game also has some of the best MODs I have ever seen. This is a fast game and has great flow! Highly Recommended you get out and play this game.

Initially played Tron: Legacy (Pro) in a local arcade and fell in love! The theme is what brought me to the machine, but the execution is what drove me to purchase one.

First, this is a beautiful machine. The backglass graphics (all versions) plus the playfield definitely fits the "cyber" feel of the movie. The light show particularly draws you in during special events such as the various multiballs.

I am a sucker for movie quotes used as audio cues, which is one of the reasons that I also love TAF and T2. The movie sound as well as the original movie score and the Daft Punk tracks definitely add to the intensity and flow of the game.

This is one of those games that you can play for long stretches due to the various situations you can get in as game modes can often overlap allowing for multiball jackpots to be achieved while you are accomplishing other goals as well. The wizard mode can be a challenge (for me) to get, but the journey is rewarding all the way up to it. No grind for the end.

Some may consider the amount of mods for it a sign that it is lacking out-of-the-box, but I see it as more a sign of how dedicated owners are to this machine and how much time/effort people are willing to invest. To date, I have only added a Cliffy scoop protector and a shaker motor, but more mods are definitely in store for my machine.

Tron: Legacy (Pro) was my first NIB, and I feel I couldn't have picked a better one.

Great game. Love the ramp shot, does not get old even after 75 ramp shots. Modding has never been more fun and never has a mod been cooler than the Tron Arcade Cabinet. Playing Tron pinball while watching a Tron Arcade game....too cool.

Never saw the movie so it takes a while to get used to the names, modes, etc. But all in all, a gorgeous looking and sounding game. Well done Stern this time!

This was a dream theme for me and I had astronomical expectations. Too astronomical, as it turns out. The layout is ok. Combos are fun to shoot. I like the disc, though beyond that the playfield seems a bit lacking. Art is good but docked due to the photo elements. Speech is very repetitive, although I do like the girl computer voice. Music and sound is fantastic. This machine needs LEDs which is why I gave it a 4/6. The rules are nothing special, with the exception of the Sea of Simulation mode, and otherwise are a bit of a negative. I feel like I am playing the same game every time, which would be ok if it were really fun, but alas....
Most other Tron geeks really enjoy this machine, but it falls flat to me. While theme execution is fairly well done, the game feels lifeless and sterile and I'm not sure why. Maybe the canned speech.. Dunno.. Overall, I feel this is a solid and fast machine, but just nothing special despite the awesome theme. But maybe it's just me.....I really wish George Gomez had had a crack at this one.

What else can I say about this game that has already not been said. Great flow, awesome layout, worth every penny if you can get your hand on one.

This is by far my favorite pin right now. I have an external sub hooked up and the music just engulfs you into the game. The Quorra and Gem shots are extremely satisfying when hit, especially during Zuse fast scoring, and of course the identity disc is badass. There's lots of randomness with the ball once it shoots out of the disc. This pin is a modders dream and the best mod is yet to come with Eli's wire ramp mod. I can't say enough good things about this pin.

In my opinion the playfield layout is the principal default of this game. The lower of the playfield is not enough clear while this pin is very fast, so the circulation of the ball isn't clean. However it's a pleasant pin.
