This game is fun but it is unreliable and very difficult to get support for it now. The electronics are very very rare now. This was obviously the alpha test of the Spike system (even the full Spike 1 felt like a beta). It is also a fairly ugly cabinet. But with all that said, it is a very fun little game, with a good level of challenge. I do HATE that there is NO ball save when multiball starts.

Another Home pin from Stern.

The Pros:
A shootable fan layout that has a bit more to it than one would expect. Ramp shots are satisfying and the avengers power cube is a great randomizer. Inline drop targets are way sweet and the risk/reward they off in gameplay is solid. Mechs are good and the bonus ladder will give players something to work for.

The Cons:
The head on the cab is super (even for Stern) cheap. The copy I played had a rebuilt head on it because the owner liked the game enough to invest in his own copy of the game.

The Takeaway:
It's a home edition of a pinball game from stern. It is what it is. Put it under the christmas tree and let the kids have at it. If you like what it is... I bet you can find one for cheap and have lots of FUN!

If you can find one in good shape for a good deal it's definitely a lot of fun and it doesn't take as much space as a full size pin. The light show is impressive for the price point. Getting balls up the ramp for multi-ball are difficult shots!

This is quite a unique pin to own. The gameplay is solid and very fast. Can be just as brutal as a normal pinball machine. Lost of posts and targets that will slam your ball straight down the middle. The modes you play are simple yet effective, and the game does a fairly good job of spreading the targets across the playfield, however, having both ramps only shoot able by the right flipper is a bit of a bummer. It isn't as flashy or extensive as a full commercial game, but it still provides most of the fun in a very unique and home friendly way.

Pretty good for what it's intent is: to be a pinball machine for the whole family. Obviously barely any gimmicks to speak of, though there is a multiball feature. Very easy rules to follow. Really good sound quality with nice sound effects and music. Still, the price tag needs to be much cheaper. Should have been more of a success.

Just not fun at all. Felt cheap and small. And for $3500 to boot! The sound and lights were nice. The one I played was at a retail store and had a "sold" sign on it so they must be selling to someone.
