Wanted a T2 - grabbed this instead

I was cashed up and looking for a nice game

T2 had always held my interest but I wanted 'something more' - then I jumped onto our local Australian forum Aussie Pinball and saw this T3 had JUST been listed for sale by a highly respected Aussie restorer.

I made my mind up in under 10 minutes that I would be owning this game.

What I truly dont understand is some of the average reviews of this title , it is rated 94 at Pinside with games like Mousin Around and Frankenstein in front of it - I mean COME ON you MUST be KIDDING me!!

This is T2 but has been beefed up to inculde more than T2 has available in the game - to me it is an AWESOME title. Some say it is a drain monster , far from it ........this thing is a FLOW MONSTER.

There is VERY little, if anything I dont like about this game - even the RPG backbox game is enjoyable, I have owned a CV in the past and at LEAST this T3 backbox game adds 'something' to the gameplay ( unlike CV ) AND you must get through all 3 stages of RPG to qualify / go through to the Final Battle - so RPG DOES become an important part of the game.

The shot for the 'tight' B ramp is an enjoyable shot as is the captive ball shot next to it and the 'heartbeat' of RED once you earn that - a pinball pro subwoofer will become part of my T3 shortly JUST for this effect.

I love the constant Arnie talk and also the animations are excellent especially for Ball Saved, Kickback ( Arnie on the machine and gattling guns - LOL ) as well as bullet holes and the start of Multiball.

Assault Mode and Blitz are just terrific modes too, I have read you can stack these modes but I am unsure how, I also got something called 'Quick Draw' in one game and had no idea HOW I got it. Along with the nice gameplay, the awesome modes and the RPG backbox game intergration this game also has a Video Mode.

My personal game is chock full of NICE Led globes and I have installed mirror blades which really suit this title ( pics here at Pinside ) , I will soon be adding some lit RED flipper buttons and some custom made stainless steel flipper wear guard plates machined with T3 logo.

This title wont be going ANYWHERE soon
