Where's the love for this game? Definitely superior to T2 in almost every way. More shots, CRAZZZZY flow, cool gimmicky back glass, more audio, all metal ramps. The definition of a hidden gem. FAST, FUN, FLOW FLOW FLOW. Proof that you shouldn't just listen to the majority's bias, and make your own calls. Have been playing it a lot, can't really see what's not to like? Hmm, it might be shallow, but most of Ritchie's other classics are... damn is it fun!

I give it a thumbs up. Good flow. Happy to play it occasionally, but think I would get tired of it after a while if I owned it.

A fun game in my opinion. I love the metal ramps and the RPG game. Pretty simple in concept but i think it has a good balance of difficulty.

This to me is just not as good as T2. T2 has me coming back again and again. This game does not. Also hate the toy in the backglass.

Played this for a few games in London recently and just wasn't taken by it. There wasn't a good feel to it at all. Found the shots fairly straight forward and it certainly didn't leave me wanting to play again and again! A good effort but nothing there to hold your attention.

I like the effort in this pin... Thats about it. lol. I like the relitively symmetrical play field, there are some cool multiballs and animations, a few of the shots are easy everytime shots "which get boring" while others are tough. The backglass gun/ball/point/shooting thing is kinda different... cool I suppose, but personally I would prefer a cool backglass "or in the case of scared stiff cool backglass and a game" I kept trying to give this one another chance but all and all couldn't get into it. for an Arni/terminator fan this one would be sweet though

Solid Steve Ritchie effort for Stern. Competent follow-up to T2, as Steve pays homage to it with a similar playfield layout & modes. T3 has several gimmicks that make it unique. T3 doesn't include a playfield cannon, but rather one in the backbox called the "RPG". Very cool! T3's "RED" mode is really cool, watching the machine pulse red, as you hit the lit shots. Arnie & T-X heads will attract new players. All metal ramps make it stand out next to other Stern machines which use plastic. Well-lit translite isn't too bad. One of the only Stern pins to use a video mode. T3 video game shooting gallery is similar, but better looking than T2's. Rules aren't that deep, but are better than T2. Advancing modes makes sense to new players, as you upgrade your weapons. Music & photo-shopped playfield art are pretty bad. T2's incredible art & music blow it away! Sound quotes aren't as memorable & T2 cannon is way cooler. Great game, but not as good as T2. Affordable & one of the better Stern pins.

I picked up this pin for a good price. I like Arnold, the RPG, and all. Only complaint is the field seems a bit crowded with so many ramps and loops. Almost seems like you can't miss hitting something (but still fairly challenging. I'll keep it for a bit for sure.

This game reminds me of mid to late 90's model Williams games. It has the classic lit backglass with lights and flashers no fluorescent tube, all the ramps are steel, very cool. Is has a video mode. For some reason I always enjoyed these in the old Williams and Bally games. It has multiple plung shots. You can choose a mystery award or go for the TX skill shot for example. The RPG game in the backglass is very cool. Not sure what the complaint is about it. I found it fun and challenging especially as you completed each round of the RPG portion of the game. The rules are not overly deep but deep enough for a player like me. Many modes to complete and a wizard mode as well. T3 is hands down better than T2. Just more to do.

The best machine ever! simple but so much fun with arnold. the only down thing is the sound system could be better...
I would give it 10.000 if the sound was perfect. If anyone has some ideas to improve in this, please contact.

One of the better Stern ones. Quite easy to play. Artwork is soso.

But the complete metal ramp set give this pin at least some quality value.
If you see one, play it.

Relatively easy to keep the ball in play as long as you can don't shoot the center drop target. Shame because this is a required shot to lock the ball and will almost always result in a fast shot SDTM. The RPG was cool at first but is too easy and quickly lost its appeal. Flow is real nice as usual for a SR game. The red theme, while fitting and different, just didn't look all that great to me. The sounds and music were ok. Arnie's monotone voice gets annoying. Could have used some lines from the other actors to add some urgency or variety. I hate auto plungers no matter how cool they make the "button." Couldn't get into this one and could care less if I play this pin again.

The reason to play this one is the RPG mini game. Truly original. Other than that, very generic game.

I love the movies but is it THAT hard to make a decent Terminator themed pinball? This is brutal to play.

A bright & distinctive looking playfield that has the wow factor! T3 really impresses. You are instantly drawn in by the Backglass with in-built game (RPG) Rocket Propelled Grenade & vibrant lighting sequence. A vast improvement on the sluggish original T2 machine but still classic with similar ramp & lock ball positions. Feel comfortable buying a newer built machine with less problems to fix and playfield toys that won't get damaged. A great themed machine with hundreds of voice commands from good old Arnie himself! You'll love the "You'll Be Back" tag line when your game comes to an end! Arnie's right, you always come back for more!! Top Game!

Just like at the movies...Rise of the machines has nothing on Terminator 2.

T3 is a great game with two faces!
Play bad and it is a horrible drain monster with virtually no ball save. When the balls are draining Arnie gets repetitive by saying "shoot here and here" all the time. The gun game comes up every game, all of which becomes annoying but wait.....
If your playing well the game really flows and there is lots to do, great dots and sounds and lots of tactics (stacking stuff etc.). Also the gun game gets more relevant and challenging as the game advances. There are lots of neat things going on such as Blitz and firing the gun when the ball is in play.
There is far more to the game than I first thought. The whole game is so fast that I need to concentrate hard to keep up.
T2 is possibly the coolest game in the world but T3 has far more going on and blows it out of the water. Hmm maybe I need both?

I know this is sacrilegious, but i view this game as an upgrade from T2. I love T2, but this one I enjoy slightly more. There's just more to do.
