Fast. Fun. Flow! Seriously, a masterpiece of flow and the smoothest game I have played. Not a very complicated game with a limited ruleset, but would be an essential part of a large collection. Good pin for beginners and a great value. Art is fairly drab, but add 1 to rating with a full LED conversion which gives it a much more futuristic look. I wish I could play it right now!!

Great flow and getting payback time never gets old. Love hitting alternate ramps. Fast, fun game. Not super deep but one of those games that you always end up having one more go. Probably best as part of a collection to balance with deeper games. If I had a chrome, HUO edition it would be a keeper for sure. Although not a huge fan of the cannon and would have been better with a deeper ruleset.

Fun and fast with a wide open playfield. Listening to Arnold over and over gets kinda old though. Wish it had more of the other characters in the sounds and artwork. The motorcycle sounds great though! Scoring is more balanced than I seen in most other pins. Kickback and center pin are nice and keep this game from being a drain monster. A great game for beginners as the ruleset is fairly simple and most people are familiar with the theme.

Edit: Downgraded my rating. To me this game is missing something. I play one game and then I am bored with it and want to move on to something else. No buyer's regret, but it may be trade bait soon.

The flow is RIDICULOUS. A fast and furious ride, and a total blast to play. Not deep and could have integrated the terminator theme a lot more effectively in my opinion (where's the t-1000 at?) But as far as fun goes, it's great for its era. Epic Steve Ritchie layout and great Chris Granner sound.

Great machine. Always gravitated toward T2 1st before any other machine growing up. It looks cool, plays good, great flow, and awesome sound. Easy for casual gamers but challenging for pinheads. My only gripe is I wish it had more T1000 in it outside of a image in the back of the playfield. Nothing from the film except for Arnold's voice (which is amazing) and the huge terminator head is incorporated into pin. I wish it did. Outside of that it is still an awesome fun game.

Man this game has flow. There are only a few shots which stops the balls travel and that is very short. Ruleset is fairly simple and straightforward but fits the theme. The call outs aren't annoying like in T3. A fast, fun game and great looking when chromed out but wouldn't want it as my only pin but would be good in a collection.

One of my favorite Themes for a pinball machine. You just cannot go wrong with the Terminator! Fun to play, good sound, great last-ability. The cannon shot is a blast, good artwork on both the playfield as well as the cabinet. A keeper in my book, I do recommended this machine in any collection!

This was my first machine so I may be somewhat bias for sentimental reasons. The game for me is loads of fun and the playfield is laid out nicely. The rule set is a little shallow but, this is a great machine for casual play or parties. When I owned it everyone loved to play it and was upset when they discovered I sold it. I love the theme and Arnold's quotes are perfect. All pinball lovers should own this machine at least once. As a bonus it can be had for a reasonable price.

T2 is a great pin and fun to play. It plays very nicely: true, fast and smooth. The playfield looks great and it has many cool modes and objectives.

Great theme...A game that was destined for so much more. The DMD display IMO is fine. The cannons were a good but often malfunctioning idea. "shoot here and here". Ok...I now know how to aim a pinshot. "Multiball...easy to aquire...rules...shallow...I won't be back."

I had this game in my collection for a few years and sold it to make room for another game.I wish now I had it back. I loved how fast the game is.

Pretty decent machine, little repedative with the sound. Shares Demolition mans issues of to much blue in the playfield. Listening to Arnold over and over again gets old fast to. The loops are cool, but the gun gets old kinda fast, way overused imo.

Didn't hold me when new and after trying again at a recent show on two different recently restored machines still just couldn't get into. No specific reasons, just not for me.

Still a solid pin.
Affordable, quite cheap to maintain. Probably the backbone of the most collections.

I still like it, and will celebrate his 20th birthday with a long play session.

One of the better movie license games, & one of Steve Ritchie's better designs (oddly enough, still better than T3). Great artwork package. The translite is menacing. The T800 and Hunter-Killer toys are all great if you can find a complete machine. The gimmick in this game is the cannon (later used for STTNG). Very cool toy to use with the accompanying gun grip. Some very nice dot animations (being one of the first DMD games), fun light show, great video mode, movie scenes are well integrated into game, explosive sfx, an incredible soundtrack (same one from the T2 light gun game), and speech from Arnold himself (swear roms are available). Some top-notch flow, and easy to understand gameplay. Its no wonder that this is George Gomez's favorite machine, and inspiration for his designs. Main gripe with this one is a lack of modes. Its ruleset is barebones. You will eventually get bored of the Terminator. Excellent though to add to an existing lineup, and a very affordable machine at that.

It's my first Pinball machine and after try a lot of machines, i decide to chose the terminator 2 because it's very speedy game (No dead time). The backglass is very impressionate all people see them in my basement like it. If you have possibly to buy it, Don't hesit and buy it. Very fun machine. The sound of the machine it is a sample of the reel voice of Arnold S.

Very fun machine. Very similar to other Steve Ritchie machines like High Speed.

The main attraction of this pin for me is its licence, and the art package scores quite high for me too, the playfield has plenty of shot choice and the game play gets very fast, the ruleset lets the game down a touch, but still a great allrounder.

Surprised this game doesn't rate higher. For a beginner this game is excellent. Ruleset is shallow, but allows for excellent flow to gain practice at shot accuracy without making life too impossible. Getting the super jackpot firing at a moving target with the cannon while balls are still in play takes some work. All the gunfire and lines from "The Govinator" really make the game fun if you were around during the release of the movie. For the first DMD machine, and video mode, it deserves a lot of credit. Steve Richie designed a great game without clutter and maintenance in mind. Should be high on the bang for your buck list.
