This is the first machine that I owned and have had it for two years. Thought about selling it when I bought Dredd and STTNG because it was not as flash. Poor T2 sat there for about 3 month patiently for me to return and I did and now I love the big fellow again. It is a classic that I will keep for a long time. It is pure pinball. Fast and dumb. Classic Steve Ritchie machine. You can pick them up for under 3K in Australia.

Really simple game to step up to as a beginner. Extremely satisfying left and right alternating ramp shot as you move towards "payback"

Its easy to love a pin with Arnie sound bites

A fun game I have great memories of playing back in the day. Now that I've rediscovered pinball, I still find this machine a ton of fun. It's seemingly straight forward yet still allows a nice variety of scoring approaches with good risk-reward choices to be made.

A Steve Ritchie classic!!! How can one give the first game designed with a DMD a bad rating. T2 is a true breakthrough in pinball. A must have for a collection!!!!

The only challenge from this machine is to beat your high score. This is done through ramp shots and skilled play during multiball, which is a blast to start and to play. Other than that, T2 doesn't take a whole lot of skill to play, which is why it can be enjoyed by anybody.

Had a nice HUO example of this game and just couldn't get into it. The layout is great, but the game just lacks on the gameplay front. I feel like you just constantly are shooting into the skull. It feels like a system 11 game with a DMD. This game would've really been enhanced had there been some modes or other goals to shoot for other than alternating ramps and the skull.

The theme is done really well and the art and lighting is a complete package. The backglass and PF art are really nice and I think this game really looks sharp. I just wish it played as well as it looks.

My first pinball love. This is a very fun game with tons of flow. Not the deepest of rulesets but plenty to do for the average player. Friends and family love it and I can't see it leaving the collection

PROS:
Great Flow, love the ramps and loop shots.
Easy to follow rules make it fun for begginers.
Theme, at least to me it's rad.

CONS:
Not lots of depth. I could see how this machine might get old unless you like the theme or flow.
The game music - you will either like it or hate it.

Cheers!

This was a game I enjoyed playing a lot as a kid. When revisiting it as an adult, it wasn't as fun as I had remembered. Although it has a few cool ramps and toys, and the cool Terminator theme, the rule set and fun factor seemed to be lacking. I didn't feel as though I needed to come back for more after each game. I kept playing, hoping it would, but it never happened. Fun to play at the arcade, wouldn't want to own one.

T2 is a pioneer game. Great theme that everyone likes. Was really good for its time, but like TAF is showing its age compared with newer Stern titles like Tron & AC/DC. It was the first game to really start the "fan" layout that would be copied many times over and done better later on (AFM & MM). It has the first video mode in pinball which is cool. The gun on the playfield is ok, but again has been done better on later machines like STTNG. Landmark game for DMD era, but average compared to the great stuff that followed.

Good while it lasts. A fun game in spurts, but there does not seem to be much to do. You'll grow tired of the cannon before you know it. The ramps, flow, and speed are what make this game rate so high. Fun on location, not so sure in a home environment.

I've owned several of these and it does not last in a small collection. The theme is great though if you're an Arnold Fan. The modes are rewarding, the shots are good. The quotes are outstanding, the light show is good and this one has a video mode which is cool as well. Good use of the display. When cleaned / waxed this one can be really fast. Great Super Jackpot reward and Arnold stating "You Are Superior" is awesome.

Pros:
Great theme, lighting, FLOW, artwork, music, speed, ramps, cannon

Cons:
Scoring, the cannon is the only thing to shoot for if your looking to put up points. It's no Demolition man, but the backglass could have been a little better.

I really like this game. It is very simple but it is fun and based off the best film in the franchise. It iis limited in scoring options true but it plays smooth and feels good to make the shots that are available. I had a Batman forever which has a cannon, and this cannon still beats it in performance. put some LED in this thing and it looks amazing. I think this game is worth keeping, because it is not really worth selling ;)

T2 may not command high dollars, but if you want bang-for-the-buck you can't go wrong. It has a great combination of theme, sound, lighting, toys, shots...well everything. If it's set up right it is lightning fast. The ramps are perfectly placed and once you get into the rhythm of the shots everything starts to FLOW. That cannon never gets old either. You think it's easy? How many super-jackpots can you hit? It's hard to believe T2 is over 20 years old. It is the total package.

I now own this pin. I purchased a machine filled with mods. The strong point of this pin is of course its tie in to the movie.....and Arnolds call outs. Not a real complicated game, but one that offers up a bit of fun.

The weak point of this pin would of course be that its somewhat easy to figure out, and once dialed in on the shots, loses some of its challenge.

If you can find one at a decent price that hasn't been played to death, buy it.
