decent game, not worthy of the number 1 EM for sure.

Fast, fun, and easy to understand. The object of the game (outside of achieving a high score) is to spell the words Teacher's Pet. This is done via the various kickout holes, targets, and rollovers on the playfield. There are also two drop targets, and their value increases depending upon the order in which the letters are hit. Spell Teacher's Pet in its entirety and these drop targets light up for a special. Three numbered rollovers near the top of the playfield add to the game's interest as getting all three opens the ball return gate. The top center rollover is worth 500 points and can really be a game changer. The artwork on the backglass and plastics is funny and whimsical. Enjoyable game.

The artwork in both the backglass and playfield is absolutely charming and would look amazing in any collection. Fun game, good rules and the Target Scores when Lit in the center makes this charming game challenging. I personally really enjoyed playing this pin and although i am not a big William's EM fan, the game is very well deserving of a good to excellent rating. I like mainly like about this pin is the artwork and overall theme! If you are fortunate enough to get one, I highly recommend Teacher's Pet! Fun Fun Fun!

This game is more fun than the sum of its parts, but it is certainly quirky and different, which I LOVE on EMs . It has that "one more play" feel, and it is incredibly addicting.

It is tough, but you can easily lose yourself in it.

If you have a chance to own one, I highly recommend it.

Had to buy this as my mother and daughter are both teachers! Glad I did. Lots of fun trying to collect the letters to spell TEACHER'S PET. Once collected each drop target earns a free game. Also can earn replays with points. Like the old single player EM's that offer multiple ways to win replays. The little flippers can knock the ball all the way to the top with skill. Hit the 1-2-3 and open the gate. Artwork is funny and attractive. Bells sound good. Had this game more than a year...it's staying in my collection for sure!

I owned this game for a few years as it was my first EM. Difficult game which was why we didn't play it much. Don't see why there were such high ratings as I didn't find anything one thing particularly fascinating about it and nothing that made it stand out from others at this time. Unless you are fan of pink? Not a fan

I like this game, fun and fast if set up properly. The post by the flippers are cool and unique , the game looks good and has a lot going for it. I would buy one if given the chance.

Great game that has excellent risk/reward shots at the two lower drop targets. The drains are set so they will frustrate even the most accomplished EM players. If you can't nudge well this game will eat you alive. The artwork is very funny and fits the theme perfect. An excellent game for any EM collector although it is very very hard to find.

Not a game that keeps me wanting to play over again. The theme never really attracted me. This is a game I could take or leave.

I was recently reunited with this game after foolishly let my first one go. Just as frustratingly fun as I remembered.

As mentioned in another rating to do well you really need to collect the T and E early on. If you haven't by ball two you feel the pressure mounting. Making it back up to the top is doable but challenging. Part of what makes it so fun I think. The top rollover is worth 500 points but not as easy as you'd think to collect. It takes a very skilled plunger shot and then when it's up top you are sort of faced with the dilemma of trying to collect the T and E kickouts first, as they are so crucial. This game really polishes your nudging skill as you try to influence the balls subtle trajectory to get all the letters needed.

By ball four the game helps you a little by allowing you to collect the lower letters via the switches behind the drop targets. What's interesting is that sometimes you want the drops up and sometimes you need them down. You can manipulate that but it isn't easy. After all the letters are collected the special is lit. You need to shoot the two drop targets to collect so it's crucial to get them back up. Lot's to do to complete the tasks needed to win a replay through collecting all the letters. Playing for score may be a bit easier but not is satisfying.

Great game that keeps me coming back for more.

Bright and colourful and loaded with goodies on the playfield, I really wanted to like this game more than I did.
The playfield has a fundamental issue that it is so cluttered, it is almost impossible to get the ball up to the top.
That becomes an issue since the most important scoring features are at the top: to build the drop value, you have to collect pairs of holes/standups, but good luck shooting for the first 2 sets at the top. You're best bet is hope for a good plunge and get them.
But that's another issue: A skillful soft plunge will get you 500 points at the center lane rollover. 5 balls, 5 skillful plunges, and you can get 2500 points without flipping, which is a higher score than a typical game where you miss the skill shot.
If there as a clear path to shoot to the top, this game would be a lot better. But as it sits, it's still a bunch of fun and a great value for the price it commands.

The upper center lane is worth 500 pts. Make a skill shot and get it 5 times and you have 2500. The rest of the table will give you much less and you have to earn it (make the letters in order). With a better balanced scoring this one would be a winner. I see it positive that it is not as generic as other tables of the era. The backglass is nice.

Another game I played extensively when this was on routes because it was so easy to beat and I didn't have a lot of quarters to drop. Artwork is pretty good for a Williams game
