A pin with lovely artwork, even my wife played on this one. I regret I sold it.

TOTAN; If you can find a good shape one, snatch it up. You'll never regret it. A piece of art that will entertain tremendously.

Pretty nice game , although the theme isn't my favourite.
The playfeild layout seems to be a bit clustered for me.

Gorgeous to look at, nice flowing ramps but uninspiring modes for me. Clever use of toys but each one, except the genie himself, slows the ball too much. The spikes, the lantern, the ramp magnet all very cool but again slows the flow. One of those games I *want* to like but, sorry, just can't get into.

A lot of thing to do, lot of ramps but you can see ball in each point of the playfileds, very hard to find in italy...

TOTAN is just an amazing game. First, the artwork. Incredible. Beautiful colors and very stylish. The music and sounds blend very well with the theme. The gameplay is fast and challenging. The rules are deep enough to keep it interesting but not overwhelming.

The game seems to be designed just perfectly. For example, there is only one ramp, yet there are diverters everywhere so that the ball follows different paths based on what is going on in the game. One ramp with 6 different outcomes.

Tons of magnets in the game to lock balls and pause the game for effect. The multiball is challenging; however, this is the opportunity to rack up a ton of points.

Haven't made it to the wizard level yet, but have come close. Can't stop playing it. A must for any collection.

Basically the same game as ToM. Same concept but love all the magnets and the cages that pop up down the sides to save the ball. Basic concept progression but hard to get through.

Another brilliant table from the mind of John Popadiuk. This game is the most impressive and decorated fully fleshed tabled of the DMD era. So many toys, ramps, magnets, disappearing balls, ramps with early exits and so forth. It sounds overwhelming, but somehow its not. It's not too much at all, this is a game that will consistantly amaze you with its clever engineering every time you play it. Popadiuk really elevated the game on pinball design in my book, all of his tables are very distinctively his and only his. I like the flow of TOM better (no lamp interference) and play that one more often, but this table brings smiles to even the staunchest of non pin players.

I owned it for three months, typical Jpoop game. Just not a fan.

One of the most beautiful looking pins out there. This is one that you display for sure. It's fun, but doesn't exactly have that intense, one more game feel to it. I can see this one getting old quickly. Still, it's hard to fault. Did I mention it's beautiful?

Not a game for beginners - this one is all about ball control. If you just smack the ball around, this game owns you. Really fun once you get better at pinball though.

This table is the full package. A functional work of art.

Played this about 10 times at Pinball Hall of fame. Shots were well put together and the system voice helped me as beginner on the machine ( maybe a problem as home use being to repetitive) . I will add to my wish list

I can take or leave the theme, but at least it was original. The art is extremely well done, just a beautiful machine. Solid modes, challenging multiball, good flow, some unique toys and fun gameplay. High replay value for me.

Really nice looking game , Some nice toys, same designer as TOM and CV, so common in one toy in centre. Whearas TOM loses the plot and CV is the best this is inbetween for me. They all look stunning though. TOTAN is though after a while easy to play. Thats is what lets it down , once you have saved the princess a few times the challenge has gone. Hence be wary of being a home use machine if you play a lot.

TOTAN is truly an amazing peice of art. The beauty of this pin is the comprehensive package, delivering amazing artwork, sound/music, lights, and playfied toys. All of these components come together perfectly, delivering an experience that most players (of all levels) will truly enjoy. It is truly an addicting game!

Spectacular pin! Williams was pushing the boundaries with TOTAN, expanding on the storytelling concept in a pinball machine. TOTAN uses a completely original pin theme, telling an epic story; wisking players into a universe to that of an Ali Baba & Forty Thieves setting in Bahgdad. Your job is to rescue the princess, who is imprisoned by the evil genie, Salim Bagazzi. Right off the bat, your a part of the story. Striking art design, incredible voice work, middle-eastern music score, & DMD animations that pull you in. The central game nemesis (the genie) & original theme harkens back to classics like Black Knight. Shot layout is very good, with some stop & go for novices. Genie magnet is very cool, while the spinning magic lamp is fun to shoot for. Overall, the game feels alot like the fun Theatre of Magic at times. Light humor (snake bite skillshot & cyclops bash) & some of the most entertaining modes since Indiana Jones '93. One of the more expensive WPC-95 machines & instant classic.

One of the best looking machines out there. The whole Arabian theme is just gorgeous. The playfield and over all experience for me is ruined by one thing ... that darn lamp. I love everything except that darn lamp get's in the way. It completely ruins an otherwise awesome game. It's a neat "toy" gimmick but with all gimmicks they eventually come to an end.

This is a top 5 machine for me. Great layout, and a ton of different shots. The magnet at the genie, is one of a kind.
Great game allaround

This game is just beautiful. It plays so smooth. Lots of big ramp shots and a big open playfield. The lamp is a ton of fun to spin. The music is great but the voice acting of the genie is horrible. The make a wish might make it a little too easy to get through the quests. I'd love to own it someday.

This game has the best ramp in pinball. I am not crazy about the theme, but I like the music, art, and shot selection.
