Excellent theme for me. Great playfield design and game flow. Gameplay is fast, but not as fast as Pro given the VUK with a right ball return giives you a chance to cath you breath. Well integrated modes that do not stop the game for you to complete, but occur simulataneous with overall game play. High level of variety withing each game keeps you coming back. Expression light and shaker are a must. Topper looks great, but is a bit noisy. A nust for the home collection.

Fun game. Theme does NOTHING for me and the music is fine( again not a huge rush fan)

Shots are fast and tight but hitable and a blast. Time Machine reminds me of LOTR magnet shot.

Surprisingly fun( I’m talking about the premium)

Not a huge Rush fan but the game is wickedly fun. I LOVED the overall design of it when I first saw this pin streamed, however, felt a BIT let down when I saw it in-person. The manufacturing quality of the Time Machine and clock in particular leaned too heavily towards the cheap side of things for my liking. I'm a fuzzy pin-princess though, so don't let that deter you. If you love ore even moderately like Rush, this is an awesomely fun pin to play. Love the callouts and theme integration overall. While the music itself turns me off slightly, I keep coming back for the rule set and flow of this game.

The premium over pro Rush pin is a significant upgrade; where some of the lanes go nowhere on the pro, there are ramps to give them purpose. The mechanics of the ramp on the Time Machine lifting up and activating when it is ready to accept a ball is much more interesting to me, (unfortunately this tends to break,) and I will always love hitting that shot as it is very satisfying. The additional lights and the upgrades to the rest of the machine just feel so much better on the premium. As someone who has logged a ton of time and some respectable scores on the pro version, I had a great finally playing the premium version.

I stand by the assertion that there has rarely been a pin made for such a specific audience, as I don't think non-Rush fans will have the patience to stick with this pin's weird and deep ruleset and smattering of [awesome] rush songs from their catalog, and the cheesy Canadian jokes and piping in of the band members is cool for us fans but runs the risk of being pretty annoying to others.

One of my favorite pins, whether pro or premium, I will always play it when I see one.

I really enjoy playing this - I am a fan of the music and the machine has so many good songs. I like that you can select which songs get played at various points. The shots can be hard but they are satisfying. I also like the jump into the center ring.
If I had $ and more room, I would buy one for myself. Fortunately, several arcades near me have it.

Pinball has lost its theme creativity. Rock Bands, Movies or Superhero's. Add to it the 3 versions of every machine that just strips out features and functionality. Just don't get excited for these continual themes. The only positive for the Rock Bands is the music is always good.

I play this mainly to be told by a nice Canadian guy, ”you can have it back” every time I mess up. It’s so nurturing and forgiving.

My dad died when I was young so I never had patriarchal reassurance and honestly this game is better than therapy.

I think this may be the best game Borg has ever made. I really love Rush, and had high expectations going into this game, and it honestly surpasses all expectations

I enjoyed playing it but not a fan of the way it plays. Not going to search it out to play again.

Overall a great machine. On Prem and LE models the dead-end upkicker wireform is great for game flow; that compensates for sdtm effect on dead center time machine ramp shots when ramp is down. Super jackpot gate on left ramp jams frequently. At minimum aftermarket fixes for shooter lane and inner orbit are a must.

Surprisingly fun shooter....nice flow...but I have no affinity for the band, so would just be content to play in my local arcade.

Originally I was very put off on this theme as I was neither a fan of the band nor the rules at launch. It quickly left my collection. My next encounter with it was about a year later during league and the magic immediately struck me!

The music grows on you and the theme integration on this one across the board is superb! Geddy Lee's callouts really add a lot. I find myself singing the songs throughout the day now, and chuckling at some of the humor. I particularly like the throw back to BSD with the jackpot value callouts.... 'Tennnnn Meeeeelllionnnnn!!'

Art wise, this isn't a looker, but isn't bad either. It fits the game well and after while kinda grows on you.

The shots are a lot of fun and its the perfect amount of stop&go and speedy combos. I've learned over time that pure flow is actually boring and I end up preferring a few shots in a game that break up the action. This game is perfect for me in that regard. The 1,2,3 combos are so much fun to try to build up super high and then cash in and then slam the super jackpot ramp shot for more.

Rules are really what draw me into this pin as there is so much opportunity for risk/reward and extremely high scores. I always find myself getting too greedy when building up records prior to a mode or going for more and more 1,2,3 combos before cashing in. Also trying to get all the same color record on every shot prior to the mode is a fun mini-challenge in itself. Modes, multi-balls, and side-quests are all top notch and well varied. Can't say enough in this department!

Do yourself a favor and grab this title while it's on the cheaper end. With no more slated for production I can only see this one catching fire. Right now its one heck of a sleeper!

Finally managed to play a Premium on location (vs the usual Pro I have access to). Premium is def the better option on this pin. The flow of the game fits the modes and themem more. I went in thinking a wirefrom, a moving ramp and a drum wouldnt make much difference... but it does. The game speed is slowed down with the additional wireform and makes shooting that little bit more interesting and planned. The drum toy is fun and conveys useful info. Still not essential but fun. The moving ramp for the time machine also alters the game flow enough that I thinnk it's a positive overall.

The modes and code have always been fun but this feels like the "right" way of playing them. I would not say no to owning a pro... but I would consider the Premium if I could... It is better in unexpected, but meaningfull ways. It doeesnt feel quite as unfairly brutal. Outside of the SDTM from the orbit-pops it's more "your fault player!"

I've played both the Premium and Pro versions of Rush, initially playing the Pro and loved it. However, after getting a taste of the Premium I knew I just had to have one. Both are fantastic pins, but the additions to the Premium, for me, were worth the extra cost. The playfield is among the best out there. It is relatively unique, particularly with the side placement of the pop bumpers with the clear path through them if you hit it just right. Just so many cool features to shoot for and very, very smooth. The timing of the shots with the audio is fantastic. The only downside for me was the complexity of it, knowing how best to score. The callouts do help as do the flashing lights, so it did become much less of a concern for me now but it did make me hesitate before pulling the trigger initially. Like a lot of machines, though, there is a learning curve and as long as the path along this curve is fun then that's all I need. Very deep game and I love the music.

I wasn’t real excited when Rush was announced. After about a year, I gave it a chance and play it for a while at my distributor.

The game is one of my favorite layouts and possibly Borg’s best. It’s fast and has tremendous flow. There are a ton of great shots and they all seem well laid out. Animations and concert video are fantastic along with the expression lighting. Sounds and call outs are great. The music is amazing for pinball and works amazingly well. My only gripe is that I don’t love the cartoon character depictions in the center of the playfield even though I get they are from the comic book art. I think the steam punk theme is well done as is the rest of the art on the premium.

I really like to play this pin. The first time I played it I liked it, and now I've played it on location 3 or 4 times. The shots are just easy to find and feel good. Love the ramps and flow. The last couple of Borg pins were just brutal, TMNT and Munsters, but Rush Premium is definitely a 'feel good' pin. I'm not a big Rush fan, and I don't really like the hokey art. The premium cabinet is simple and nice, not a fan of the backglass, BUT I do LOVE the time machine theme and shooting the ring is super fun and the ramps and light show. I would definitely play this pin often if I had one in my collection.

If you are a fan of Rush this is a must own game, from the studio music matched to concert footage, to Alex and Geddy's voice overs to a play field that is fun and enjoyable (loosely based on their Time Machine tour).

Possibly the most boomer machine ever. Boomer music, boomer (and a bit lackluster) callouts). I couldn't care less about the band, but it is a neat pin with good flow and a lot of variation. All in all a very good effort by Stern. Just wish it was a better band... Like Ramones.

This premium seems like a huge upgrade from the pro. Unlike some other games where it is harder to justify the price difference from the pro (tmnt most notably, maybe JP) overall This game is amazing, I just don't love the band.

The game is fun to play with lots of good and challenging shots to make. I do enjoy the music, and I think the artwork is very good. I play the game regularly and look forward to it every time I do.

The call outs are spot on... "your late numbnuts"... love it. Music adds to the fun and excitement well, increasing play intensity. Favorite, but players game, not as enjoyable for beginners.

Love this game, just got it, played Godzilla and Rush side by side. Bought the Rush premium.
