Flow and hurry-ups

Written by emo, published May 21st, 2011. No comments.

I got to play this at a friends for an afternoon a while back. I had played it before and wasn't sure what to think as I hadn't played it enough to form an opinion.

Now I like it but it seems that for every good point there seems to be a bad one that kind of pulls me back from saying it is a great game. For example:

It has the sweet flowing shots as you would expect from Steve Ritchie but the toys seem cheap.

The art isn't anything special, especially on the playfield but the light shows are great.

The sounds are good but Chloe sounds as if she is bored-she shouldn't have been paid for that performance.

The good news is that after a few hours I was able to look back and say that I had a great time playing 24. I kind of forgot the negatives and got into the flowing shots, multiballs and hurry-ups.

My conclusion if that it is not a top game but it is good fun and if I got a chance of one I'd definatley buy it.
