Such a fun game. One of Steve Ritchie’s best layouts. The warp ramp is as close to perfection as an upper ramp can be and repeating the shot 4 or 5 times in a row feels great. The code is very simple, but it is still fun to go through all 18 modes without having to really dig deep to understand it. Fun game all around.

Fantastic pin! Plays fast but fair and seems like it’ll have some great longevity. This is the first pin I brought home and it’s been great for both my family and I. This is one of those pins that seems like it’ll be bolted to the floor for a long time and will cause my collection to expand. The warp ramps are just pure buuuuuuutttter!

I played it at a resort not too long ago and just kept playing it over and over. It was a lot of fun. I'd love to have this one in my collection.

The playfield and translucent ramps are extraordinarily bland, but the game play and design are very rewarding. I strongly believe that if this machine had more appealing and colorful use of the Star Trek brand, it would be way more popular because it is a truly compelling game when you break it down. The enterprise miniature and sound effects around it are super appealing and the shots are very fun, with a ton of ways to hit the ramps, but unfortunately the entire package just falls flats without the extra oomph to capture passerby attention.

Even the Pro version of Star Trek is one of my favorites. It offers loads of game features, callouts and awesome DMD animations. Upgrading to a color DMD is definitely worth it.

I've never been much of a Star Trek fan but you don't need to be to enjoy this machine. Firstly, it' very fast, especially during multiball and when the ball comes flying back after hitting the Vengeance. At first glance there doesn't seem to be much to the game, but looks can be deceiving as the missions are all fun and challenging. The warp ramp needs timing and feels great when you catch some rhythm. May this machine 'live long and prosper'.

Star Trek is a very good game.

The layout has similarities to Spider-Man but with even more emphasis on flow. All of the shots are very satisfying to make and they feel perfectly balanced out. The shot to the scoop on the left and the sideramp are my favourites. The only things that are missing on this version are the red LED lights that go into action during Klingon Multiball, the Vengeance's down position and the VUK. But in terms of gameplay I don't think missing these features makes that much of a difference.

For me this game is relatively easy to play since I am quite good at playing Spider-Man.

I like the rules, playing the modes is a lot of fun. My favorite mode is Save the Enterprise. The Vengeance and Klingon multiballs are very enjoyable as well and collecting the victory laps is a nice feature.

The artwork is quite good on the backglass, cabinet and the animations. The playfield is average since it looks a bit too basic for me.

I am not a Trekkie or a particular fan of a Star Trek movie but I think this game has been themed brilliantly. This game has led to my sort of liking the Star Trek genre.

Overall Star Trek is a very good game with a big emphasis on flow. It will probably appeal to every player that can at least live with the Star Trek theming. It is a game that even a beginner will be able to enjoy.

I’m sorry to say, but no. 9 on the 100!? Don’t get me wrong, Star Trek is a good game, but not THAT good. Better than TNG Star Trek, Theater of magic, Terminator 2, and TWILIGHT ZONE!?!? I don’t think so…

Great flow and good ruleset. The game looks a little ”boring” imo. but when you get around and play it this pin is so much fun! I am not a fan of the theme but the gameplay is just so good that it doesnt matter much. Not sure of how long the machine would last in a smaller collection though.

A super fun game for all skill levels. Buttery and smooth. Surprised by how well the shaker is integrated. Could play it all day.

I was fortunate enough to add a ST pro to my lineup. It is my only Richie pin and I really like the layout and flow of the game. Code is great from Lonnie and I don't think I will ever get to 5 year mission! Great game for anyone looking for a first pin as the shots are wide open and it has the cool factor with the warp shot. It has good challenge and is a great value for a pro model. The negatives to me would be the art in general especially the backglass. It needs an alternative to make it look better. But man o man does it shoot well and strictly from a gameplay perspective is really fun.

Welcome aboard!

I have owned this game for 3 or 4 months. It made HS2 get old when I get it but went old when I get AIQ...

The art package is a bit so so... think it could have been better, for the playfield mainly...

The game shoots nice, left and right ramps are butter. The one from the top flipper was a bit difficult to get. I like very much the kick back from the vengeance spaceship. The shot behind the third flipper is clever.

Sound is very good on this game. Star trek theme is really great and I like the music when you pass in victory lap mode.

The missions are not varied enough I think. It seems to be always the same. But I like a lot the vengeance modes. The two first one are the best for me!

Overall, a good game but not to have at home too long as it lacks variety a bit.

A fast moving machine, a good theme, a little too much Chris Pine for the Trekkies I know, but a game that I love playing. Feels a bit inspired by Attack from Mars, and that's a good thing.

I think this game is great but the fact that sttng is so much older for me this doesnt beat how fun the 90s pin is. I think they have done really well with the pin and layout with the lights and everything going but the movie for me as the theme is never as good as the classics and ruins my enjoyability as i cant relate to the shots and voices as much as the older pin, great game but rather the 90s version

I had the opportunity to play this pin at Pinballz in Austin. Theme was well executed, has some nice shots & call outs. Music is part of our popular culture, & well integrated into the game. I enjoyed playing this much more than I expected I would. “Just one more game…”

I would like to add it to my collection at some point.

Another of the better modern Stern tables. And there seem to be a lot of them on market so it's a little more affordable right now. Playwise it's perfect with lots of shots and flow and a deep rule set. But I had to take some points off for the photographic art work (I love star trek, but let's be honest, the remakes aren't as good as the originals, I don't need to see those guys heads in my house all day) and the strobing flashing lights. The game is almost too hectic at times and I'm afraid the callouts would get annoying after awhile. A super fun table to play, but not my personal choice to own purely on aesthetics.

This is a game that is definitely on my wish list. I've played it several times and still seek it out whenever possible. I was never a HUGE Star Trek fan but more of a casual one, however, I love the way they maintained the original theme in this pin. The sounds add a great deal to the escalating excitement when you have a good ball or game. Well done.
