Spider Man is a great pinball machine. Cabinet, backglass and playfield work the Spidey theme very well. Great effort! For me Spider Man is good 'benchmark' for the quality to expect from todays machines. To top off the great looks, this machine also plays really well. It's good fun and yet still offers a challenge to the experienced player. Can't find too many faults. My biggest issue is the use of the thin, plastic standup targets. Man, i hate those things and am embarrassed to see them on great machines like Spider Man and AC/DC for example. 3D standups would have been way cooler. Regardless, its a top machine i reckon. Nice one Stern.

My dad owns his machine so I play quite frequently. Great game! The story, modes, scoring, and playfeld all help solidify this game as a personal favorite.

What a great pinball machine! The modes, rules, toys, and call outs are so awesome. Plus the shot and playfield layout give this game so much flow and speed. Battle Royal is a great mini wizard mode/multiball and Super Hero is so gratifying when you get there, although I have yet to beat it. Definitely a top Stern title that I thoroughly enjoy playing.

I find this to be an overrated Stern game. I want to like it more, Spider-Man has always been my favorite super hero. I have more fun with most of the other super hero games though.

Have a pretty solid working Pro version on location near me, and it has great replay-ability. It's all about that rule-set.

Tightest ruleset there is. I prefer the original callouts to the VE. I have owned SM twice but have sold it again. I have always thought SM gained respect rather than love. Everyone seems to agree it's a great game. But, after a while, it becomes less fun. One of the best. You should experience owning it and really go after Super Hero. Can it keep you engaged forever? Not sure.

Played this at a local Incredible Pizza. It was not kept in good condition, flippers stuck, etc. The layout is exactly like AFM, and plays a lot like it. Overall the best Stern game I have played besides LOTR. Would play again, and even but if the price and condition were right.

My favorite Stern SuperHero game. I liked this game a lot, and found it to be one I wanted more of.
the game has great use of ramps, and an enjoyable game flow. It's easy to get the concept of the game, and what needs accomplished. Really a fun game with good play.
The game I played suffered from being on the OCMD arcade and although it played perfectly, it seemed as if it has a "Stern quality" (or lack thereof) to it, where it was very wobbly on itls legs. For some reason, each Stern that was at the arcade had that same wobble to it, where a small child could easily knock it around, except for the IJ that I also rated.

Totally awesome!!!!!would love to own one, to work out the rules. But this game is so impressive, You cant possibly go wrong with this game , one of the most if not the most impressive game I have ever seen!!!totally fun, if you own it congratulations, its really something to be proud of..

The Good:
Reminds me of AFM. Fast, fun shots. Call outs are great. Really like the looping ball ejects.
The Bad:
Themed from the movies. I get why they did this, and it makes sense. I think they could have made an even better pin if themed from the comic book (like XM)
The Ugly:
I only wish Stern made more of these so that I could get one at a reasonable price.

I was surprised that I liked this game so much. I enjoyed it more than Tron for sure. It had plenty of shots that varied from easy to sort of hard and a ton of combos to put together. At 75 cents a game I was able to get a hour out of $6. The screech sound that replaced the knocker is lame...
