Spider-Man is the best movie themed pin ever made. Game Design. 2007 version. The cast are ON POINT! Alfred Molina as Doc Oc(Returning), JK Simmons (Oscar) as JJonah Jameson (carries the game), Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man(Returning), Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin (O-Nominated), Thomas Haden Church as Sandman (O-Nominated). Theme. 93% rating by the matormeter! Amazing cast with all the call outs from this amazing lineup! Best superhero all time...The playfield shines with these stars only like Spider-Man can. Sound and Vision. Flashing lights from upgraded LED packgage. Color DMD with real movie themed cuts . Shaker motor and low bass effects adds depth like an IMAX Atmos theater. This game really belongs in top 10.

Super fun game by Stern. Spiderman is my personal favorite super hero so I love the game. It flows super nice and the shots are lots of fun. The rules arent the deepest ever but stacking several modes and multiballs is a blast. Not as good as the vault edition, but it's the same awesome game.

Steve Richie's ultimate modern classic. Shots are amazing, game is difficult to master but easy to play/not inherently punishing. Out of the box, needs an LED OCD board for LED conversion and art blades or BackAlley buildings to create the experience. People can go really toy-happy/crazy on this game, but I keep mine stock. Only knock is the plastics art- the creepy heads on the left plastics especially- but besides that this game is a total work of art.

Arguably the most fun, complete, and most well designed game of all-time.* Not especially complicated, but that's a plus with this game. Easy to play, with obvious goals and rules. Just a great game. Amazing flow, with lots of combos and you can stack lots of modes. It's everything more complicated games like Ghostbusters are not. Fun, good-looking and great call outs. I don't mind the DMD movie clips either. I love this pin. UPDATE - After owning for 6 months, I still respect this game a lot and it’s a truly great theme. They nailed the feel and spirit of Spider-Man in my opinion. The call outs from the movies and the actors are great and I would miss them on the VE. But my comment about it being arguably the best pin ever was overstated. It’s a solid, fast, engaging game that is easier and more smooth than Ironman, and the rules are super easy to follow. People say it’s not deep, but have you ever gotten to Super Hero? I haven’t. After owning LOTR (the best game I’ve ever played), and playing more and more pins on location, I would say this game is great, but not a best-ever contender. After 2 years without SM, I'm bringing him back to the collection. There is something about this game, something familiar. It's just a game guests and friends can easily play, and better players can try to reach Super Hero. Yes, collecting the 4 villains over and over can be a bit repetitive, but there is more to do in this game. Just a fantastic translation from a blockbuster movie to a pin. It just oozes theme! Color DMD on this pin is a MUST.

Finally got a chance to play this at Pintastic and it was a solid little Stern game, feels like any of there more recent games. I do not like the backglass and wish they would get away from the photoshoped screen captures and give us real artwork again.

Spider-Man pinball is a great game. I fell in love the first time I saw and played it.

3 flippers, nice ramps, a lot of awesome modes, nice looking with the VUKs, really nice toys, very good theming, great lighting show, Battle Royale and of course Super Hero!

My son and me always want to play the game again and again. I love to shoot Doc Ock and the great Venom ramp.

There is so much to do to become Super Hero.

Probably the best game that is out there!

Spider-Man is fantastic. I'm a massive marvel movie fan, so the theme is a big plus for me, but even without the theme the layout is a fast, satisfying one, which perfectly works alongside the ruleset. There's lots of multiball, lots of modes, lots of depth, and a very tricky to reach wizard mode unless you have a killer game going. As is often the case with Ritchie Stern games, the toys are all models that sit above your usual Pinball features like targets, magnets, ramps etc., but it works in this game - especially the AFM drop target area. This game is definitely one of my favourite Stern games and definitely top 10 of all time for me. I love the ramps, the callouts, the modes, the music and pretty much everything else - solid game!

I wanted to like it. I wanted to like it so much. I just hated it. My boys love spiderman (the character) and I really wanted to get one but I've played it twice and really didn't care for it. Love ATM not sure why spiderman just doesn't do it for me.

A great pin. Although a simple fan layout, it has great flow and a wide variety of shots from the two main flippers. The rules are solid and the wizard modes are very entertaining.

I was surprised by this one. Not being a huge Stern fan, I really enjoyed the way this game played. Of course, being a SRP game doesn't hurt! I need more time on this deck to give it a more accurate rating, but what little I did play, I really enjoyed. The open layout, the AFM center shot, the Doc Ock shot, and the fan layout works really well on this game! One of the few Sterns I feel is worthy of its position on the charts.

Fun game, but somewhat confusing at beginning.. The arrows kind of overlap, you believe at the beginning, and it makes it confusing to know which shots to go for etc. Otherwise a really solid, fun game. Easy to keep balls going for a while before draining, and the beginner can feel as if their shots matter when they land something, because most shots makes things happen - and for the more experienced players there are plenty of advances strategies to go for the biggest score

Very fun to play. Owned one for 3 years. Traded up for AC/DC Luci. Without led is very dark. Like the gimmicks. Call outs are ok. Magnet in front of Doc Ock worked when it wanted. Overall a fun game. Recommended.

What can really be said about SM? Possibly Sterns greatest game ever! Ritchie & Lyman absolutely nailed everything about this game, the playfield toys/mechs are simple yet so effective, due to each villain shot feeling completely different and unique, custom speech from JJ is the icing on the cake.

Similar layout as Star Trek (Stern, 2013). Fun game I would most likely own if I didn't have as many friends that own the game already. Solid game all around, always a blast to play.

I played this on location and loved it, then I bought a huo copy and it just got old quick. It has good gameplay I couldn't stand some of the sounds and call outs. Layout was good and flow seemed good too I just got bored of it fast. Still a fun game to play once in a while but didn't last in my small collection.

This is a pin I would play at a location every time I go, but the "Lastability" of it as a HUO game would probably not be that long for me. The game design is ok, but wish there was better theatrics or better modes or something to keep my interest better. I like the theme and others would play it just for that. This was a "lower price" pin by todays standards, so because of that, it's ok. Maybe some extra modes can add some excitement/eye candy rewards. I like the artwork graphics, and call outs better than the VE version. Black Spidey is a little better with graphics.

"So nice, they made it twice."

Spider-man is a fast, fun and furious game. It's flow at it's finest.

It does get a bit repetitive at times because you have to hit 4-5 shots just to light start mode (maybe the only flaw in the game), but it's so fast that you forget all the work you're actually doing.

Rules are spectacular, allowing you to plan a strategy to get to Super Hero. I haven't yet reached it, but along the way Battle Royale is a great "mini" wizard mode, too.
