I have owned my SM for about a year and I can safely say that this game, LOTR and Tron LE are the 3 best Stern games so far. The number of shots in this fan layout is amazing. The Spider Sense shot on the right is one of the most difficult shots in all of pinball. The physics of the shots you can make off the upper right flipper onto 2 different ramps are mind blowing. This is one of the coolest games to Mod and LED's will make at a 10 on lighting every time. Nobody WANTS to sell this game once they own it.

This game is the modern day AFM, MM, or Monster Bash. Center Target bashing is fun, until you get good enough to backhand the Doc Ock consistently, then you start going for combos and white modes, or you work your way towards battle royale. Absolutely amazingly deep and fun game with tons of Ritchie flow. This is a modern classic.

Nice variety of shots. I really like the the way the shots are tasked to get to the various modes. The different modes each require different shots and my favorite is Bonesaw which always gets me pumped up. The Dock Ock shot and magnet are well incorporated into the gameplay. The Super Hero is not easy to get to but is not impossible for an above average player. This game is great for working on flipper skills, and also has great combos shots.

Sold my Simpsons for this and have never looked back.

This is a beautiful looking game. They did a fantastic job with the lighting on the playfield. I went ahead and added some extra flashers and it looks amazing! This is my 2nd favorite stern game right behind LOTR. Great flow to this game and great music. Buy this game!

Played this in an arcade. I do not own one. Lots of lamps were out so the lighting was bad. I liked the layout of the PF and enjoyed the game. There were issues with one flipper and some mechanical problems too. I think I would like to own this pin someday.

Just played Spiderman for the first time today and man is it good! I actually just finished playing AFM before I started playing some and I thought it was just as good and just as fun. It comes with a center post to help you with those pesky center drains when trying to hit sandman and his force fields. I did notice some of the crap artwork on the slighshot plastics but who cares its a ton of fun. Id buy one in a heartbeat if I had the cash ;)
Cons: This one is a big one for some people but the DMD is the worst part of this pin. I think the animations are cool, movie clips etc but the red DMD looks muddy and its hard to see at times.

Bought Spiderman a while back, but didn't remember to post a review. It has been a lot of fun to play. I am still working my way through all the modes and discover something different every time I play. We don't keep this one locally, so I don't get to play it as often as I would probably like. I love AFM, and SM is similar in many ways. We added the shaker motor, and boy, there are times it seems like it shakes the whole house. It sits next to BDK, and I really think we need to procure an Iron Man for a superhero trilogy.
