For Dad

Written by ShaneBolda, published August 28th, 2014. 2 comment(s).

I just discovered this Pin while watching some YouTube videos... specifically TNT Amusements with Todd N Tuckey who runs a really good shop... I'm sure most of you are familiar with them and their videos...

I've been looking for my first pin now for a month or two extensively, doing a lot of virtual playing, physical playing, and researching various site and videos... I have a few machines ABOVE this one, but FOR DAD (whom I am primarily getting a Pin for), this one seems PERFECT!

My father was in 'Nam with the USMC, more specifically he was in Echo company - 2nd Battalion - 4th Marines... Also known as:

THE MAGNIFICENT BASTARDS

SO... this machine looks MAGNIFICENT for him, is a great value (~$500), and I think would make a great candidate to do some minor work on... What I would LOVE to do, is get a custom back glass made, maybe redo the side art, and POSSIBLY change the name on the playfield, making a custom MAGNIFICENT BASTARDS Pin out of it...

My dad would ALWAYS play Pins when we went to the arcade together, or were at a restaurant or out somewhere that had some machines... I currently have an original Pac-Man and Donkey Kong that will be a blast to play as my father plays his Pin next to me.. Anyway, thats my story... Take care!

I'M EXCITED!

This is a great story and you are a great son. I do not have kids, but I would be very touched by this. Great idea!
