There's a SS at the bowling alley not far from my house. It's so much fun, I would bring my 10 yr old bowling just to have an excuse to play some pinball for an hour. Playfield and backglass are like a work of art. Callouts are 2nd to none. Good flow and that bony beast ramp is somehow ooh so satisfying.

Scared Stiff is a great fun game to play. The play field has plenty of things to shoot at. The call outs are funny and full of humor. The art work is great along with the back glass with the beautiful and sexy Elvira on it .Scared Stiff lives up to it's name and is a classic IMO. The game is pricey but well worth to own someday. Hope to pick one up.

Going on my 3rd SS now and hope to keep this one. A very original game that's a blast to play over and over. Not very deep in the rule department but since I'm not a great player-It's not a factor to me.

Nice and easy to play, maybe too simple. I have played this game many times and would play every time I see it, but would not get one to my collection.

This game was a huge surprise. I never got into the movies and was expecting nothing when it came to the pin. This takes the cake when it comes to expectancy gap, in a good way. The playfield layout and design was great. The game was really fun, including the spin wheel in the backbox and the bumpers with the pop up frogs. Missing a shot never amused me more with those pop up frogs.

Proof positive that even 20 year old B/W games are better than anything Stern is capable of producing today.

Love this game. It's another that's just always fun to play. Solid trunk shot, good flow with the ramps. Gets a little repetitive after maybe 30min, but then if I go back to the same location a week later then I'm right back and happy to play it for another 30min.

Played this machine at the Michigan Pinball Expo, waited in line forever to play it too, I was really excited when it was my turn, but was extremely disappointed after the machine ate all my balls before I could really play the game, maybe it was this particular machine or how it was set up/maintained,in short : "WE ARE NOT AMUSED!"

This is fun, silly game that, unfortunately, fits in the overrated category for me. Very fun callouts with Elvira double entendres, and great toys (backbox is fantastic). I'd imagine that this game get boring in a small collection, but it is always worth playing when I come across one.

After being so disappointed with ...Party Monsters, this was a welcome surprise. Super fun game with a lot of great shots. This game is loaded with charm, surprises and great game flow. Very fun to play and I'm looking forward to my next game on this table.

SS is one of the best tables ever produced, in terms of playability and overall entertainment appeal. It's chock-full of tongue-in-cheek callouts; "he always wanted a little head", (after a tilt) "HEY! not so rough", "this thing is huge!", "that shot got me stiff!", and my personal favorite "oohhh I'm having multiple jackpots!" Hilarious.

Easily the best humor of any table out there, and very adult-oriented. Nice DMD animations; with 'family-mode' switched off, The Mistress of Darkness will wink at you as she fishes into her cleavage for an extra ball.

The simple and straightforward ruleset isn't deep, but getting to 'Spider Mania' can pose quite a challenge. 'Telepathetic Power' is a fun feature. Backglass and playfield artwork are beautiful, fitting in nicely with the dark theme. Novice players will enjoy the table and its layout, as will anyone that appreciates a good bit of camp with their game. One of my all-time favorites.

A good game for beginners since the shots can be repetitive, but completing all the modes can be challenging. The call-outs are full of humor. A fun game overall, but because of its repetitive nature, it probably won't stay in a small collection for a long period of time.

I like Elvira and the 'stiff-o-meter' more than Medieval Madness or Metallica. This is my #1 pin in my collection.

Very nice looking game with cool toys. Its rules are not too deep and completing all spider lights feels like work and not like fun. Overall it is a nice game.

Just really like this game. Again, humor is a huge factor. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a deep game like LOTR and other times a more simple just plain fun game is called for.

Elvira is just a great pin theme! I love this one and Party Monsters.

Some of the funniest voice lines made for pinball, ever. Elvira and co. is just hysterical.

Other than that, this is a very fun and simple game that unfortunately gets a little old when you play it many, many times and learn what everything does and how to do anything. A spectacular visual and audio package alleviates this, fortunately. Sometimes I find myself coming back to this table just to hear the sounds.

It's a pinball game that's plain and simple, and very fun to play. It looks like there's not too much going on and for that I like it. Incredible lightshow at the end, and really nice to work to. Features a nice backglass minigame that lets you select the mission with a spinning spider. The frogs next to the ramps are very satisfying to hit as well!
