This was the first pin i ever owned and i regret trading it. I will have another one day. This pin is special to me because i was a huge wrestling fan as a kid and still am. IMHO it is a very underrated game, if you can get past the theme its a fun pin for a beginner because of the easy rule set.

I got this game in a package deal and I am not a wrestling fan at all and my first thought was to trade or flip it. However once I started playing it and got the shaker motor fixed it turned into a fun game. If you can get past the theme and (IMO) cheesy artwork you will have a very fun game on your hands. Guests like to play it!

Ooooh yeeaaaa! A little on the easy side, but a fun pin especially for classing WWF fans. Plenty of WWF fanfare to keep you coming back to the early 90's era of wrestling. The voice effects will be love it or hate it. Even for hardcore fans, the repetitive Macho Man ooh yeaaas may be too much, still, it's a solid affordable pin with lots of fun to be had.

I am biased as I grew up watching wrestling from this era. I love hearing Macho Man call out his famous line for the match countdown. The shots are decent and multiball is fun too. Nothing amazing here but I don't mind playing it and wouldn't mind owning one. Now go watch "Real American" youtube video and revel in the wrestling glory... and then play this game.

Love this game, but im an old school wrestling fan,so it fits well with me,no way near enough toys though for a wide body, there is actually none, you have to impravise, 4 player mode is a heap of fun..if you love the old rock n roll wrestling you will like this game...

Fun game for not the most serious players. Especially good with many players. Theme is fun and the game pulls it off very well. Very good value for the money.

World Wildlife Fund is a pinball game that needs a serious software overhaul.

The Pros:
Doink and Dink.

The Cons:
The rules on this game are deader than half of the wrestlers on this game's art package. Ramp rape up the middle is a valid description of this deck rendering everything else on it worthless. You would have thought they would have learned their lesson with Star Wars.

The Takeaway:
This game could use some steriods for code or a P3 rewrite.

Update:
Alright. I put some more miles on this deck and have to say that... this game is fun. It's not the most complex, deep or balanced game, but it is fun and that is something to rejoice. I didn't give this game a quality review and with that in mind, I'm gonna give this game the review it deserves:

The Pros:
A well laid out table with only 1 real gripe from me (see Cons). Tight shots at both VUK holes and the side lanes. The 3 big shots on the game are wide and easily identifiable. Collecting the wrestlers to activate multiball requires shots to be made all over the table. I don't know what it is about the "Tag" feature on this game, but I love it and have drained more balls than I'd care to admit because of it. If you can rock it, the Pandemonium award is one of the best add-a-ball modes ever put into a pinball game. I love the upper PF and hitting the Super Jackpot at the top hole in the upper PF is VERY satisfying.

The Cons:
This game is all about multiball. For high scores that's all you are shooting for. But if there is 1 thing I'd like to change about this game's layout, it's the center ramp. Most modes aren't that interesting and feel like they are trying to make a DE Addams Family. A wizard mode in pops, really? Rules, rules, rules... That is the difference between a DE and a B/W deck. Royal Rumble requires everything to be tip-top or it plays very poorly, if at all.

The Takeaway:
The best B/W analogy I can give this game is Judge Dredd. It's not expensive, there's lots to do in it, it has a 6 ball multi ball and a small army of fans that think this game is the cat's meow. Well, it isn't a bad game, but it's not a great one either. Find for under $800.-, snap into a Slim Jim and play it for all it's worth.

Yeah, Yeah... Oooooooohhh YEAAHHH!

Pro players stay away.

It is similar to other pins like The shadow and Johnny mnemonic, if you can't get past the theme you won't like the game regardless of how hard you try to. This game is obviously for casual players and wrestling fans.

One of the games that have the best intagrated theme into gameplay ever if not the best. Tag button is a neat idea, mini pf, no holds brawl, royal rumble, get in/out of ring, etc are all cool and original modes. Difficulty is medium. The only real trick shots are the far left and right lanes but aren't too hard. One of my favorite so far but not for most player out there.

This game was a hit with everyone that played it here. I really enjoyed the theme, music and game play. Being a wrestling fan growing up helped me really enjoy this game, but it was a hit with people who were NOT fans of the WWF/WWE. Great DE game w/ a shaker!

I really enjoyed playing WWF Royal Rumble. I'm a huge wrestling fan myself, so that may be why I enjoyed it so much, but I felt it was a really fun design and had a lot of neat features. I would like to own one of these someday. Come to think of it, it's probably my favorite Data East table so far.

In my opinion, one of the most underrated pins. Just because you don't like wrestling, you should not walk away from this machine. It's often stated that the sounds are repetitive, but overall for its time, I think there is quite a bit of variation of both music (which also changes appropriately for what the challenge that is present) and speech clips. Also playfield is well lit. Great multiball. Shaker. Overall a fun game... if you give it a chance you will ask for a rematch.

I'm a huge pro wrestling fan, and I will admit that does contribute much to the high rating(as well as never getting annoyed with the call outs). Love the mini playfield in the upper right hand corner, and the high variety of music.

wide body with shaker motor, being a wrestling fan growing up, this is a fantastic themed pin. Not very difficult, but tons to do and lots of fun. The game that everyone plays when they come over. Missing Ultimate Warrior which sucks. All in all, great undervalued game.

They should have had stone cold, not a challenging game there is no big shot or enough to keep the game interesting. Not a game I would have in my collection much better games out there.

Great game! Machine plays fast for a widebody. I was a huge wrestling fan in the 70's early 80's. The quality is very good. Lots of different modes. Don't shy away from the title. This is a great pin in the $1 k range.

I think this is one of DE's worst games, but it's not the worst ever.

A very good game in terms of playability... lots of things to go for, and I like the mini-playfield... fun to play too, and good strategy (for me). The artwork and theme are absolute crap though in my opinion, and destroy this game totally. If the artwork coule be changed to something more... beautiful... it would be great! A great game to re-theme!

This was a game that I just couldn't get into. The shaker motor is on nearly the entire time that you're playing and while the shot layout isn't bad, there just seems to be nothing to capture my interest when playing. Maybe I'll give it another shot some day but my two games on it were long and pretty boring.

the 1st dmd pin i bought. im happy i did. wide body, lots to shoot at the upper playfield is fun. the shaker motor is well used. this pin has a deep rule set and is highly underrated. and it very fairly priced for the fun it provides.

This game doesn't get much respect because of the theme. And the theme does nothing for me. But from a gameplay standpoint, it is pretty good. The center ramp is a very easy shot, but the scoring for it is very balanced and it doesn't become the main shot in the game. The upper playfield plays really well and is very well done. There are some easy shots and some that are long and difficult.

The music is pretty good, but the voice calls and effects can get grating pretty quickly. If there is any game that would greatly improve with a re-theme, WWF is one of them.
